We hired 4 movers and two trucks from Menards Moving & Storage to move us . They were supposed to arrive between 8 and 9 am. The leader, Joseph, called me on his way to l ... Read More We hired 4 movers and two trucks from Menards Moving & Storage to move us . They were supposed to arrive between 8 and 9 am. The leader, Joseph, called me on his way to let me know when he would be arriving - a few minutes early, which was great! The other truck was a bit behind schedule so he lowered our rate to make up for it. We walked through each room together and talked about the things we wanted loaded last, and then they got right to work! It was a very hot day, but that didn't slow them down one bit. We couldn't believe that they were able to completely load our 4,000 sqft house in just 4 hours! Luckily, we had already done some packing, but we were still rushing to finish packing so we could keep up with them. They unloaded everything just as quickly at the new house and we were happy that the whole move only took about 9 hours. The other movers were James and Jared, and they were all very nice and careful with our belongings. They also tried to avoid hitting any walls. They wrapped most things in blankets and tape, which I wasn't sure they would do. This is the second time I've used these movers and I would recommend them to anyone! I would also like to thank Joseph, who did a video walk-through of our house to give us an accurate estimate and who was always quick to respond and change our estimate completely when we made some changes to our plans. Menards Moving & Storage is a great company all around.
