Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Under U.S. state privacy laws, you can tell us not to sell or share your personal information with third parties. At My Good Movers, this can include sharing information about your visit with our advertising partners, and sending your quote request to moving companies that have a business relationship with us. Those moving companies pay us a fee for each quote request we send them; see How My Good Movers Makes Money.
Your opt-out covers both. To opt out of sharing through marketing cookies, open Cookie Settings and turn marketing cookies off. Our Cookie Policy lists these cookies. If you opt out, we will not be able to show you personalized ads.
To also opt out for your quote requests, use the form below, or email [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share” and the email address or phone number you used with us. After that, we stop sending your details to moving companies that pay us for leads.
If you request quotes later. Submitting a quote form does not cancel your opt-out. Because getting quotes means sending your request to moving companies that pay us, the form asks you to confirm, as a separate step, that you want that request sent to them. If you confirm, we send only that request, and your opt-out stays in place for everything else. If you don’t confirm, we don’t send it.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your quote requests
Enter the details you used with us. Fields marked * are required. We use them only to process your request.
We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser. A GPC signal turns off marketing cookies for that browser, and if your browser sends it when you submit a form, we also apply it to the details you enter there.
No identity check. You don’t need to verify your identity to opt out. We ask only for the details we need to apply your choice. You can also ask an authorized agent to submit a request for you; we may ask the agent for your signed permission. You can still use the Platform as usual after opting out, and we will not treat you differently.
Timing. We apply your opt-out as soon as feasible, and in any case within 15 business days. If we sold or shared your information after you opted out and before we applied your choice, we tell the companies that received it about your opt-out.
