Moving was by far the easiest thing I've ever done. Andrew, who was in charge of helping me move, was responsible and did a great job with everything. I didn't need to worry about anything!
Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.
Take the negative reviews seriously, or you will be surprised like me. Avoid this company, but if for any reason you had to work with them, consider this: 1- The price will significantly increase compared to their initial estimation. A couple of days before the pick up, you will receive a call for checking your items once again. The price change is understandable at this stage, because you'll be more accurate this time about the amount of items. But there will be another significant increase when pick up workers arrive. They will start nagging and giving you excuses like, your items are bigger than what they expected, and/or the distance between their truck and your door step is too much, etc. They offered me a discount if I payed a part (not all) of the increase in cash. Later, when signing the papers, I realized they took the cash (300$) as tip. 2- There will be a long delay in delivery. My experience was 25 days delay from the expected delivery date. They have 30 business days (about 40 days) to delay and they call it "legal", which you have already signed in those document they sent you. So there's nothing you can do. 3- Their tone will change after your second payment, which is the pick up date. This is the date of no turning back. When I called them about the delay in delivery, they spoke to me in a tone like it was my fault, or why do you bother us by calling. They didn't even know where my items were (or maybe new it but didn't want to give the info).
We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our experience with this company. We weren’t too sure about hiring them since we’ve never had good experiences with moving companies, but they surpassed our expectations. They took great care of our valuables and delivered everything safely. We’ll hire them again when we move in the future!
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
Andrew and Carl are the two most extraordinary squatters that I have ever met. It would be easier to finish the job with a bigger crew. They accomplished an incredible amount in a short amount of time. They were a pleasure to deal with and gave us excellent service.
The movers did a great job keeping the relocation on track. They used proper care with bulky furniture and made sure smaller boxes stayed organized. The delivery and unloading went smoothly.
The move started off okay, but it quickly became obvious the crew lacked experience. They bumped walls, scratched my dining table, and worked so slowly that I had to help move boxes myself.
In order to go from TX to FL as quickly as possible, I required United Express Moving & Storage assistance. The prospect of uprooting my entire existence is too terrible. It lifted a huge burden off my shoulders because they packed all the things, I couldn't move by myself.
Even though we've had bad luck with other movers in the past, United Express Moving & Storage was the finest. Andrew offered to help with everything and everything, even loading and packing. We here at United Express Moving & Storage are really grateful for it.
