Read More One Source booked a move thru my wife which I specially told them not to do. I have text message from rep telling them that. My wife has mental health issues, and they took advantage of her. I called less than one hour after they got her to book it and cancel it. One Source would not refund my money. One Source is not trustworthy and takes advantage of disabled people. Use anyone but them.

Read More This company is the absolute WORST. We hired One Source Van Lines to get started on our move from SD to OR. One source quoted me $6500 after me giving a full inventory of my things 2 days before our pickup. They are a broker, so they hire random carriers to do the move. Seal Pack Van lines came to pick up our belongings on May 28 and said our belongings were actually going to be $13,421 , and 2250 cubic feet! We had no choice since we sold our home and had to move out so we ended up paying them all but the remaining balance of $2000 which was due at delivery. The pickup driver also said they do not charge for any stairs in the home upon delivery. A driver from God Will Provide trucking (didn’t know the delivery driver company until June 29) would get the $2000 upon delivery. The driver from Seal Pack asked us when we would like our belongings delivered and we said June 7. The driver didn’t deliver our belongings until June 29, said our place was ‘too small’ to fit his 18 wheeler, so he had to get a shuttle but that would cost an additional $2300 plus $500 for the stairs inside the home! I refused! He said he would hold our belongings hostage unless we pay the additional $2800 on top of the balance of $2000! The driver would only accept a cash app type for that payment, agreed to accepting Venmo, had me Venmo his friend, someone who doesn’t even work for the trucking company! We finally got our things. Please do not use One Source Van Lines unless you want to be scammed, bait and switched and horrible customer service. Seal Pack was also extremely unprofessional and awful. Seal Pack is out of New Jersey and One source is out of Florida and God will Provide is out of Vancouver, WA. They falsely charged us for 2250 cubic feet, we actually only had 1568 cubic feet. We filed complaints with the FMCSA, FTC, BBB (the BBB was very unhelpful).

First off they didn't advise me that they would be "storing" my items/furniture for a week then moving my items into another truck before delivering to my new home. I presume the items were stolen during this time. In any event I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere fir your moving needs!

Later, they refused to refund my $1,841.06 deposit, claiming I didn’t email the cancellation a requirement that was never clearly explained or enforced during booking. No services were provided. No mover ever showed up. They’re just a broker who hides behind a shady contract and uses fine print to trap people into forfeiting money. There are dozens of complaints just like mine same pattern: misleading quotes, poor communication, and refusing refunds for canceled services. Avoid this company. They are dishonest and predatory. I’ve reported them to FMCSA, the Florida Attorney General, and my bank. I hope they get shut down.

Read More In all my years, I have never written a negative review on any company that I have dealt with. I felt compelled for numerous reasons to help others looking for a mover. My issues with them are very similar to many people. They are a broker. They are not the people that will be moving you. They hand off the job to an independent company who will assess the inventory and the price given by One Source (this is the morning of your move while they are at your house).Since they are an independent company, they do not have to abide by the One Source contract and fee given. This unfortunately will be the second price change. The original price you receive over the phone will be cheap and based on your inventory. Two days before the move, you will get a call from Mike, who is the quality assurance manger (not a nice person) and he will revaluate your inventory looking at it through your house pictures on Zillow. Mike or another quality assurance person will inform you your furniture and other belongings are larger than just giving the info to the sales person over the phone. So this will require more cubic feet of truck space. He initially wanted 3800 more and went down to 2000 more for the EXACT same items on the inventory. He was a real SOB about it too and how much time he has wasted on this. At that point I cancelled because after reading reviews, the next step was for the actual moving company to raise the price when they arrived. Fortunately, I placed my de[posit on a credit card instead of giving them my bank information which is what they wanted. With this, they get to keep your deposit. All of this pressure happens two days before the move. Most people unwillingly agree because they have to move on the scheduled move date due to new job starting, kids are enrolled already in their new school, your current home buyers are moving in, etc. So most people have no choice and will agree to the price increase and say they will follow up after the move to get their additional funds back. It wont happen. They will use the cubic feet increase. We non moving inexperience people go by the inventory list to move. When I gave them the list to move, the cubic feet doesn't matter. It's their experience to figure out the cubic feet and truck size. If you add any item to the original list (you will and they count on it), they will slam you for the increase and will be justified. The cubic footage comes into play then. Mine was for the EXACT same (not even a spoon more) and was still hit with an additional 2000. I'm not sure where the occasional positive reviews come from because anyone can log in and write a good review, like the people who work for the company, their friends, owners, etc. I cancelled my move when Mike called two days prior with the price increase. I'm retired, no children to enter into school and I didn't close on my current house yet so I didn't have to move out. I feel so strongly to inform people because you will be caught up in this. They know the system and they have it down well. You will be so involved with unpacking, getting the kids adjusted, new job adjustment, etc that you will not follow up. And if you do, you will have no recourse and will let it go. That's how these people are still in business. I am just a common person who was looking for a mover. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. My experience with this company is just like many reviews that you will read. I don't believe in the validity of any positive reviews

Read More The personnel at One Source Van Lines LLC responded quickly to a last-minute request. They complied with my request to add a second pickup site, and the greatest thing was that the anticipated cost barely increased a little. The cherry on top was that the final bill was exactly the estimate before delivery! Totally recommended!

My experience with this company was very positive. The movers were on time and friendly. The building manager where I was moving out complimented their efficiency. And mo ... Read More My experience with this company was very positive. The movers were on time and friendly. The building manager where I was moving out complimented their efficiency. And most importantly, the rates were reasonable, and the move was done from UT to IL in record time. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
