Read More Express Movers who they subcontracted with stole 3 pieces of jewelry during my move. First off they didn't advise me that they would be "storing" my items/furniture for a week then moving my items into another truck before delivering to my new home. I presume the items were stolen during this time. In any event I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere fir your moving needs!

Read More I booked with One Source Van Lines and canceled my move within their own stated 72-hour window. I called, spoke to a representative, and was told someone would follow up. No one ever did. Later, they refused to refund my $1,841.06 deposit, claiming I didn’t email the cancellation a requirement that was never clearly explained or enforced during booking. No services were provided. No mover ever showed up. They’re just a broker who hides behind a shady contract and uses fine print to trap people into forfeiting money. There are dozens of complaints just like mine same pattern: misleading quotes, poor communication, and refusing refunds for canceled services. Avoid this company. They are dishonest and predatory. I’ve reported them to FMCSA, the Florida Attorney General, and my bank. I hope they get shut down.

Please tell people to run far, we were supposed to make a king move from Florida to Texas but changed our minds well over 3 weeks to moving date, we had already made a down payment of about 1200 when we called them to let them know we wount be making that move anymore to get a refund they refused to refund despite never doing the job, we asked why this is well over 3 weeks to the due date, the owner or whoever the lady was claimed they have already paid the people to do the job upfront… who ever pays someone for a job not her done???? And why could the people not refund us for a job they never did??? Wickedness of the highest order. I just know one thing companies like this that cheat people of their hard earned money never last, their game will be up soonest as God Lives!

Read More Avoid these BROKERS like the plague! They will say what they need to say to reel you in on the contract and will then outsource all the responsibility to a DIFFERENT moving company (with very low ratings) that will take care of your belongings. It took the movers 2 months to complete our delivery AFTER we reached our destination from an interstate move. The moving company they contracted out to move our things is called, "Best Moving Van Lines." You can do a quick Google search and see the reviews for yourself.

Read More In all my years, I have never written a negative review on any company that I have dealt with. I felt compelled for numerous reasons to help others looking for a mover. My issues with them are very similar to many people. They are a broker. They are not the people that will be moving you. They hand off the job to an independent company who will assess the inventory and the price given by One Source (this is the morning of your move while they are at your house).Since they are an independent company, they do not have to abide by the One Source contract and fee given. This unfortunately will be the second price change. The original price you receive over the phone will be cheap and based on your inventory. Two days before the move, you will get a call from Mike, who is the quality assurance manger (not a nice person) and he will revaluate your inventory looking at it through your house pictures on Zillow. Mike or another quality assurance person will inform you your furniture and other belongings are larger than just giving the info to the sales person over the phone. So this will require more cubic feet of truck space. He initially wanted 3800 more and went down to 2000 more for the EXACT same items on the inventory. He was a real SOB about it too and how much time he has wasted on this. At that point I cancelled because after reading reviews, the next step was for the actual moving company to raise the price when they arrived. Fortunately, I placed my de[posit on a credit card instead of giving them my bank information which is what they wanted. With this, they get to keep your deposit. All of this pressure happens two days before the move. Most people unwillingly agree because they have to move on the scheduled move date due to new job starting, kids are enrolled already in their new school, your current home buyers are moving in, etc. So most people have no choice and will agree to the price increase and say they will follow up after the move to get their additional funds back. It wont happen. They will use the cubic feet increase. We non moving inexperience people go by the inventory list to move. When I gave them the list to move, the cubic feet doesn't matter. It's their experience to figure out the cubic feet and truck size. If you add any item to the original list (you will and they count on it), they will slam you for the increase and will be justified. The cubic footage comes into play then. Mine was for the EXACT same (not even a spoon more) and was still hit with an additional 2000. I'm not sure where the occasional positive reviews come from because anyone can log in and write a good review, like the people who work for the company, their friends, owners, etc. I cancelled my move when Mike called two days prior with the price increase. I'm retired, no children to enter into school and I didn't close on my current house yet so I didn't have to move out. I feel so strongly to inform people because you will be caught up in this. They know the system and they have it down well. You will be so involved with unpacking, getting the kids adjusted, new job adjustment, etc that you will not follow up. And if you do, you will have no recourse and will let it go. That's how these people are still in business. I am just a common person who was looking for a mover. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. My experience with this company is just like many reviews that you will read. I don't believe in the validity of any positive reviews

Read More I paid $18,000 dollars to move from Pennsylvania to Arizona. Not only was my furniture 4 days late, I received four pieces of broken antique furniture. I am also missing a box of antique china and several boxes of items that also cannot be replaced.
