He did not have much, but what he had was important to him. His desk was a mess of cords and computer parts, and the movers wrapped it all up without unplugging anything, so he would not have to set it up again. His bike was also a problem because apartments are not easy with bikes, but they strapped it to the side of the truck, and it arrived fine. The movers picked them up as they were and didn’t ask me to redo anything. I was still sorting a few loose items while they loaded the rest. When I reached the new place, the bags were already inside and in good shape. I could put things away right away.
