I have a 4-level home and heavy furniture, so finding a company that would help me move my stuff around in my home was more difficult than I thought. The group was punctual, productive, and extremely careful with everything. The entire moving procedure was stress-free because to their cheerful approach and attention to detail. Do not, under any circumstances, use this company. I carefully listed every item I had and was quoted $3000 for my move. On the day of the move, I was told I had to pay a ... Read More Do not, under any circumstances, use this company. I carefully listed every item I had and was quoted $3000 for my move. On the day of the move, I was told I had to pay an additional $2,000 or they would just leave. I was near tears trying to figure out how I fell victim to a bait and switch and in this vulnerable position, I had absolutely no recourse but to agree to pay it. The Better Business Bureau is investigating and I’ve filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General. I had no more than I told them I would have, yet they said my move took up more “cubic space” than estimated (which makes no sense because i even had far fewer boxes and NO extra items.) Unless you want a surprise on moving day of an 80% increase to the price, (which you have no choice but to pay at that point) RUN from Eagle Movers. Bait and Switch rip-off artists.
