The crew worked hard and kept a positive attitude throughout the move. They protected the furniture, handled the boxes carefully, and stayed organized during unloading. Overall, the relocation went smoothly.
It was a superb experience with United Express Moving & Storage. Andrew moving crew took exceptional care of my wooden TV cabinet. They emptied out the drawers, placed the contents in Ziploc bags and thoroughly packed the cabinet with padding. They handled it carefully and I was satisfied with how it had no scratches on delivery. I recommend their services highly!
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
Superb experience! A team of three arrived promptly and got right to work loading in FL. They were friendly and efficient. At the other end, another team from the same company unloaded everything in about an hour, and nothing got damaged. I highly recommend them.
I wouldn't recommend this company. The movers showed up without enough equipment, struggled to move basic furniture, and wasted time figuring things out. The final bill was much higher because the job took far longer than it should have.
Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.
I had thought that I would have at least one broken piece after I moved, but thankfully everything made it to me in good condition. I had lots of friends recommend United Express Moving And Storage movers to me, and I can see why. They wrapped up my glass dining table and I was amazed that nothing happened to it during the journey. They were careful with my delicate objects and checked to make sure everything was in order before they set off.
You need great service from a moving company that can get to you quickly in an emergency. The people at United Express Moving & Storage got back to me in less than an hour about moving my things from TX to FL. This has made the service much better. They might teach other moving companies a thing or two about how to give great customer service.
I would give 0 stars if I could. United is a broker who hired Fairway Moving and Storage out of Englewood, NJ, to move our things cross country. They originally quoted us about $1,500 but later changed it to over double that. We were told certain things not in boxes would be okay, but Fairway decided it needed to be all boxed and did a horrible job. They tried to charge us for every box. The movers were very unprofessional. They showed up at 8 pm 3 days later than the original scheduled pick up. And when most of our stuff was loaded they claimed it took up more space on the truck than we had paid for and tried to charge us another $600. It took a month for us to get our things after it was picked up. I’m pretty sure they lied about where it was being stored based on comments from the delivery driver. They only sent one guy to deliver! A bunch of stuff was damaged and broken. We had to pay over $250 for bike repairs because they messed them up so bad. Our TV and a computer monitor were conveniently missing. I also found someone else’s TV remote and parts to someone else’s vacuum in one of my totes. I put in the claim with Fairway weeks ago and still haven’t heard from them. United acts like they can’t do anything to help.
Brandon and his crew were really professional and knew their stuff. They handled our things with care, wrapping them up properly to keep them safe and loading the truck expertly to avoid any damage. We were really impressed, especially after our last bad experience. We totally recommend them!
