We got our estimate to move from Vermont to Tennessee and when the Moving Company got there, they said it was $700 more. I tried to call save shield to find out what was ... Read More We got our estimate to move from Vermont to Tennessee and when the Moving Company got there, they said it was $700 more. I tried to call save shield to find out what was going on. The company told us that their stuff would be there on Sunday and they didn’t show up till five days later with damage boxes a lot of damage stuff and then the price went up another $150 when they deliver our stuff I called to make a complaint and they said there was nothing they can do for us . This company is a scam. Please be careful they’ll take you for what you have for money. it cost us 1400 more than what they told us it was going to be. and the movers left a mess in my house. They didn’t take all their garbage when they left. They didn’t put all our furniture together either like they were supposed to so yes, I’m not a very happy person and then dealing with them today and not trying to refund us some of our money, they said that there was nothing that they could do for us.

Read More Honestly, I was stressing out so bad about moving across the state, but these guys were absolute champions. They showed up right on time, wrapped my ridiculously heavy oak dresser like it was a fragile newborn baby, and managed to navigate the nightmare parking at my new place without a single complaint. Nothing was broken, they were super chill to talk to, and they got the whole thing done in under three hours. Total lifesavers. If you need to move and don’t want to lose your mind, just hire them. 10/10 would use again!

Read More My experience with Safe Shield Moving and their contracted carrier, IMOVERS LLC, was one of the most frustrating and costly customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The move was originally quoted by Safe Shield representative Tyler at approximately $1,700. However, when the IMOVERS LLC representative who identified himself as “Frank” arrived on moving day, the situation changed dramatically. Upon arrival, he began renegotiating the contract and informed me that the move would now cost nearly $6,000—more than three times the original quote. As a single mother moving with two children, I felt pressured into an impossible situation. After lengthy discussions, I ultimately agreed to pay approximately $4,500, which was still more than $2,600 above the original quote. The increased cost was justified by promises that additional items would be transported and that my belongings would be handled professionally and delivered within the agreed timeframe. Unfortunately, those promises were not fulfilled. The delivery took more than a week, significantly longer than represented. Multiple items arrived damaged, including an irreplaceable family heirloom that belonged to my late grandmother and had been in my family for generations. In addition to the damage, numerous items were missing from my shipment altogether. When I attempted to contact “Frank” regarding the missing property, damaged belongings, and delivery issues, he became unreachable. Repeated attempts to obtain answers from both IMOVERS LLC and Safe Shield Moving resulted in little more than finger-pointing, conflicting information, and an endless runaround regarding responsibility and accountability. The most concerning aspect of this experience is that several of my belongings remain unaccounted for. After exhausting all reasonable efforts to resolve the matter directly with the companies, I was forced to file a police report regarding the missing property and am pursuing additional legal remedies. The entire process was marked by significant discrepancies between what was promised during the sales process and what was ultimately delivered. Between the substantial price increase, delayed delivery, damaged heirlooms, missing property, lack of communication, and absence of accountability, I cannot recommend either Safe Shield Moving or IMOVERS LLC. If you are considering either company, I strongly encourage you to carefully review all documentation, obtain everything in writing, and proceed with extreme caution. My experience resulted in thousands of dollars in unexpected costs, damaged sentimental property, missing belongings, countless hours spent seeking answers, and ongoing efforts to recover what was lost. This version tends to be more effective because it reads as a factual account, making it harder for the companies to dismiss and more credible to BBB investigators, future customers, attorneys, and law enforcement.

Read More We had a lot of boxes, large items and a full garage. The three guys that were there worked very hard in the heat and did not stop until the job was completed. I would highly recommend them as a moving company. I am also very happy to say that their pricing is straightforward and fair. No hidden fees. All in all a great experience.
