Read More Even though downsizing from a big house with a ton of stuff sounded like a nightmare, Menards Moving & Storage made it appear easy. They arrived promptly, carefully packed all of my belongings, and even helped me sort through my belongings to determine which ones to keep and which ones to donate. No one on staff was careless or disrespectful with any of my possessions. I had zero concerns because they took care of everything from start to finish.

Read More Don’t use Menard’s Moving and Storage for anything. Zero stars is more appropriate. Unprofessional, cost inflators, and masters of the run-around. Quoted costs are low over the phone, they estimate as a function of the square foot or your place (without coming in person to do a proper estimate), then when the van arrives for moving day, the costs go up because they need more space in the truck (not to mention they insist on payment via Venmo, cash, cashiers check, or Zelle - why not a check made out to a company?). Our new estimate was about 50% higher. They took our property, placed it into storage close by, the whole time insisting that it was en-route and they’re having a hard time contacting the driver. After 21 business days (read their contract closely, that’s about 1 month) Menards tried to have us pay an enormous amount for storage (that we didn’t ask for). They never replied to emails sent to [email protected], never provided proper names or physical addresses of the carrier used, were difficult to contact, wouldn’t accept voicemails (always full), and would communicate only to placate (no new information, they generally didn’t know what was going on, etc. - the run-around). At that point, we hired a lawyer to stop the nonsense. Under no circumstances hire this company for your moving (or any other) needs.
