Read More Alexander and Edgar were very hard workers!!! They took great care in managing my items during the move few days ago. I chose a 3rd floor apartment and these guys did the work of 3 movers. This is the 3rd time that I’ve used Coastal Moving Services and the results are always the same, trusted-reliable-professional-courteous! I’ve recommended them to neighbors and they had the same experience as did I.

Read More They went above and beyond in facilitating the moving of my one bedroom apartment 1august! Carrying gazillion boxes, bags, queen size canopy bed with box spring plus super heavy mattress, futon couch, paintings, yoga mats, bicycle, my dogs' cage and bed down 5 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS! Talking of stamina 💪🏼 They were super efficient, brought their own tools to disassemble furniture. It would've taken myself days to move everything. From getting an estimate, making a million changes (and probably annoying her in the process), and booking— Sammy was amazing to work with. Customer service was 15/10. Then on actual moving day George and his worker were super friendly and efficient. Loved my experience and so glad my cousin recommended this moving company! I’ve already recommended them to friends and family during the experience because it’s been so smooth and stress free. And I would definitely use them again in the future. They made my move from NYC to Texas a breeze!

Read More From the time I reached out to them for a quote to the completion of my long distance move, they were highly communicative, organized, and intentional. My movers showed up right on time the morning of my move, and got to work immediately. They disassembled large furniture, kept all parts and pieces organized, and were able to pack my one bedroom apartment up, in full, within 3 hours. A few hours later, they showed up to my new apartment, and reassembled the furniture, put together my couch, hung my clothes in the closet, and place all boxes in their respective rooms, making unpacking, easy and straightforward.

Read More They packed with such thoughtfulness on my last move on 1st august—asking questions, labeling every box clearly, and making sure to preserve the flow of my routines. They even took time to help me recreate the energetics of my wellness altar, placing it gently by the light as I had it before. They packed up my son's entire room and traveled everything with such care. It was more than a move—it was a mindful migration to a new phase of my life. What could’ve been a chaotic, stressful day turned into a beautiful moment of transition. We even danced to salsa music while they packed. It was more relaxing of a day than I could have imagined and I felt so supported along the way.

We initially spoke with a representative named Eric, who quoted us an attractive rate and emphasized that the company was ranked #3 nationally. He seemed confident and provided a detailed explanation of the process, assuring us that our preferred move date would be accommodated. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Despite assurances, our requested move date was not honored. We were also told we would receive a quality assurance call prior to the move to confirm our inventory and finalize pricing—this never happened. I attempted to reach out the day before the move, leaving a voicemail, but received no response. On the day of the move, the person who arrived gave us a completely different price than what was originally quoted. He also claimed to represent a different company, which was both confusing and concerning given that we had booked directly through Costal. Efforts to contact Eric, who had promised to be available, were unsuccessful. We also made several calls to customer service with no immediate response, and only received a call back approximately 40 minutes later after the truck left. The entire experience was marked by poor communication, a lack of professionalism, and MISLEADING information. Based on our experience, I would caution others to be extremely careful before booking with this company.

Definitely have an understanding of what customer service is all about. Very courteous. Would recommend them to everyone. I just don't understand why their supervisors came by when they were unloading our furniture? Quality control is guess, but they didn't need it as they were doing a fabulous job.

Mauricio and Victor handled our two-day move with exceptional professionalism and care. Both Mauricio and Victor as well as their Oakland crew, were incredibly polite and respectful throughout the entire process. They communicated clearly about timing, logistics, and any questions that arose during the move. Every item, from our fragile dishes to heavy furniture and baby’s toys, was treated with the utmost care. They took time to properly wrap and protect our belongings.
