I was downsizing after my children moved out of the house. The moving day was an emotional day for me. The crew of American Van Lines helped me move on a quiet and respectful note. The crew did not rush me when I needed some time. Their empathy for the situation made a little easier for me.
There was a mix-up between some random boxes from various locations in my home, making it more complicated. However, they did not ask any unnecessary questions; all they did was sort things out while working. That is one thing that I did not expect from them.
I did have some doubts about being able to leave on time from State A to State B since I was on a very tight schedule. The team from American Van Lines came exactly on time and continued their work at a smooth pace which was quite impressive and never seemed like something rushed or messy.
The level of coordination within their team was outstanding, allowing them to complete tasks quickly and carefully, with excellent management ensuring that everything stayed on track and exceeded expectations.
Some of my boxes were extremely disorganized, but the movers took care of that problem. I had packed everything in such a hurry the previous night that some boxes remained only partially filled, and some were too heavy for proper transportation. Instead of pointing out my mistakes, the movers organized some of the boxes for safe transportation.
The friendliness and chatty nature of the movers were impressive without being distracted. The movers were diligent in their work and maintained a positive attitude at all times.
My moving destination was another state, and I feared that the lengthy journey might cause some damage to my things. But American Van Lines kept everything safe throughout the travel and informed me about its progress periodically. Everything came out exactly where I had wanted it to be—undamaged and well-arranged.
