Read More We were contacted by Reliant Moving Solutions after requesting moving quotes for our relocation from Kentucky to Florida. Steve was very friendly and reassuring during the sales process, which initially made us feel confident about booking through Reliant. We provided detailed information about our move, including the fact that all of our belongings were already packed inside a completely full 10x20 storage unit. We provided our move dates, locations, and a list of our larger furniture items. Based on that information, Reliant quoted us approximately $2,600 for the move. After signing the paperwork, we noticed that the estimate listed only about 540 cubic feet. My husband specifically called to ask about this because it seemed far too low for a full 10x20 storage unit. We were reassured that the cubic footage was simply a placeholder to let the van line know we would need an empty truck and that we should not worry about it. When the movers arrived, however, we were told that our shipment was much larger than estimated. The volume increased to 1,455 cubic feet and our price jumped from approximately $2,600 to approximately $6,700. Looking back, we feel that the original estimate was unrealistically low given the information we provided. Had we been given a realistic estimate from the beginning, we could have properly budgeted, compared other companies, or made a more informed decision. Our experience left us feeling that the broker's priority was securing the booking rather than providing an accurate estimate. We would encourage anyone considering Reliant Moving Solutions to carefully review their estimated cubic footage and obtain detailed written clarification before signing.

The movers listened to my dad’s directions and never rushed him, even though it took extra time. They made sure each item was placed where my auntie wanted it.

Read More This "moving company" (which is actually a moving broker) originally gave us an estimate that was comparable to shipping pods for a cross-country move. We opted into the moving services they quoted us at. The night before the scheduled pick up were given an updated quote, which increased the original quote by about $750, which we were understanding of, as we added a couple additional items. We were given directions on how to prepare our items for moving and told we were going to be notified of pick-up time with 24hrs notice. The following morning, a different moving company contacted us for pick up, with less than an hour of notice. We were not home for the pickup and had to refuse (were not given 24 hr notice). At 10 am that morning, a dispatch office told us the pickup would be between 12 and 2 pm the next day. The next day, a call was received at 9:00am that pick up would be in 20 minutes, we were at a doctor's appointment that had been moved from the afternoon to the morning to accommodate the given pick up time, the driver was rude when we told him we were given the time of 12-2 but did adjust and come after 12:00. Unfortunately, this person was rude, did not allow us to take pictures of contracts, and raised our rate another $2000. He packed the truck so that our things took up more space, placed our items into additional boxes (a different method than Reliant told us would be used), but I thought I would be able to speak with Reliant about the sub-par experience, so we continued with the move. This is when we found out that Reliant Moving Solutions is a moving broker - so they told us what they thought we wanted to hear on the phone prior to our pickup for cost and timeline, but we are in fact working with another 3 moving companies that would continue to give us bad information over the next month. When we have reached out to Reliant Moving Services, they take no responsibility, talk unprofessionally of other moving companies and dispatchers and told us we had called too often to check on our shipment. We are hoping that our things will be delivered tomorrow, we are at the point of wanting this over, as it has been a month of miscommunication, being on hold for hours, being told we cannot trust the moving companies or dispatchers they set up for us, and then offering no solutions. I advise you do not work with this company for a long-distance move.

Read More I am formally filing a complaint regarding the complete failure to provide the moving services I paid for and the lack of professional communication and accountability throughout this process. My pickup was originally scheduled for Sunday between 4:00–6:00 PM, but no driver arrived and I received no communication during that window. The pickup was then rescheduled for Monday during the same time frame, and again there was a no-show. I was later given additional promised timeframes, including Tuesday between 11:00 AM–1:00 PM and then again between 5:00–5:30 PM, with assurance from both a representative and the driver that the pickup would occur. I rearranged my personal schedule multiple times and cancelled other obligations in order to be available, based on these repeated assurances. On Tuesday, the driver did not arrive during the promised 5:00–5:30 PM window and did not call as promised. After following up, I was told he would arrive in approximately an hour, but I never received any further communication. When I later called, I was informed the driver had reached the end of his working hours and would not be coming at all. At no point did anyone arrive to pick up my belongings. When I requested a refund due to the repeated failure to provide the agreed service, I was told that a new pickup time could be offered for Wednesday instead. I explained that I am not available on Wednesday due to work obligations that cannot be changed, which had already been clearly communicated. Despite this, I was told I would not be eligible for a refund because I could not accommodate the newly proposed time. I then requested a refund again and asked that the communication be provided in writing so I could properly document the situation. I also requested to speak with a supervisor or higher-level representative, which was refused. My refund request was again denied on the basis that I was “unavailable” for the next proposed pickup time, even though the service had already failed repeatedly over several days past the original scheduled pickup. At this point, no moving services have been rendered despite multiple confirmed appointments, and I am requesting a full refund for services not provided. Now now responding to emails. Through this process, I asked for emails recapping conversation, and was laughed at and they refused to. Please advise, and do not use this company. New company established in 2026. Less than 3 employees at this business. False 5 star reviews.
