I booked my move through Value Added Moving, and I must say that the whole process was quite smooth. They explained everything quite well, and on the day of the move, their crew was on time. They did their job quite well, and my stuff was well taken care of. I think what I loved most about my experience was the fact that the final bill was close to the initial estimate, which made the whole relocation quite stress-free. I think Value Added Moving is the way to go for a smooth relocation.

Read More We requested a quote for moving a FULL 10x15 storage unit in MA to Florida. They asked us to describe the contents best as we could recall. They gave us a great price. The movers showed up and said the price would be double! Apparently the salesman entered the cubic footage for a uit 1/2 the size of our 10x15. We argued, said as movers they could only go by what the paper said. We said we'd like to cancel as the price was more than we could afford but they claimed the deposit of $1900 would be kept as breach of contract! If we had calculated the cubic feet of a 10x15 unit we would have recognized the problem on the contract. Our mistake trusting the salesman, who was told it was a full 10x15 unit! And although the movers said it wasn't a full unit, the price was still going to be more than double. We definitely feel we were robbed.
