I was moving cross country from Minnesota to Florida. I got several quotes from moving companies. I spoke with “Alexa” from Value Added Moving. She assured me that the quote she gave me was the final price. That as long and the furniture she had listed was all that was there , I wouldn’t owe anything more. Turns out the quote she gave me was just a brokerage fee. The moving people that showed up then quoted me their price, which was an additional $8k. This was after not showing up for 2 days and then when they did show up it was in a UHaul truck. Stay away. Just stay far away.
This was the most stress free experience I ever had with a moving company. My move was last minute. They were early, fast, and efficient. Nothing was broken. would use again 100%.
He and his team really went above and beyond to make my daughters move easy and painless as possible. I can’t thank them enough. The price was accurate, no hidden fees or additional costs. This older house has smaller doorways but he was able to maneuver the fridge through them, and did so without complaining or asking for more money.
