I was to move in two weeks and they called me saying that they can’t move me because they typed the wrong date on the system when clearly on the estimate date is on there. I tried to ask for a refund and they hung up on me. Don’t not use this company under any circumstances. I will be filing a report with every entity.

Read More Friend moved from Arizona to Ohio this month. They ended up charging her double what their "come out and look it over" original quote was. Her stuff could not be gotten out of the truck because the move they shared the truck with - with a delivery date after hers- was in the way. When the truck finally came back to her new house, the moving men (she paid for full service) just left and did NONE of the work, leaving her and a family member to do all the moving. Because the truck was poorly packed, several large pieces of furniture were destroyed. When she called the company about the contract guaranteed damage insurance THE SAME DAY THE TRUCK WAS UNLOADED, they told her the move was marked completed so they could not pay for the damages or refund for the movers time. And they will get away with it because they double charged her and took all her money. Don't hire these folks for anything. Don't let them lie to you and tell you customer service is their top priority.

They bait and switched me on the price just like everyone else is complaining about, and took over three weeks with my stuff in transit (lost and damaged stuff) Wish I had a time machine so I could avoid ever dealing with these criminals.

Read More I wish there were an option to give 0 stars. I booked a move with Value Added Moving in early September and paid a $1,145 deposit. I canceled the service within 48 hours, well within their contract’s 72-hour cancellation policy, which states I’m entitled to a 90% refund. From September 3rd to November 13th, I have sent multiple emails and made numerous phone calls — each time I was told my case was being “forwarded to billing.” Nothing has happened. No refund. No follow-through. Just stalling and scripted responses. This company’s business practices feel dishonest and border on theft. They are withholding money they are contractually obligated to return. Do not trust this company with your move or your money.
