Moving company in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
The move had several avoidable problems from beginning to end. There was a late arrival, unclear communication, and the work took considerably longer than expected. I spent much of the day trying to keep everything on track. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
Our state-to-state move took two full days, with furniture, kitchenware, and outdoor equipment to load. United Express Moving & Storage kept the schedule on track, arriving early each morning. They secured our patio set with extra padding and stacked our storage bins for easy unloading. Once we reached the new home, every item was accounted for and in the exact condition we left it in.
The move started off okay, but it quickly became obvious the crew lacked experience. They bumped walls, scratched my dining table, and worked so slowly that I had to help move boxes myself.
Our long-distance relocation included a full-size pool table, which is the biggest headache. The movers disassembled it carefully, labeled the parts, and wrapped the felt so it wouldn’t crease. After carrying it inside, they reassembled it until it was level and ready for use. It felt like we had simply moved the game from one room to another.
We had to relocate my grandmother’s upright organ to our living room. The movers padded it heavily and strapped it securely before taking it outside. They navigated the front steps slowly so nothing jolted. After it was positioned near the window, I pressed a few keys and heard the same perfect tone, proving it survived the move completely unharmed.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
I had items that were delicate and I didn't want to move them, but this team took extra care with them. They took special care with the padding, treated it in the most delicate way, and made sure it all made it home. Excellent service!
I'm so happy with the service I received. The movers were friendly, fast, and careful with every single box. They even helped me disassemble and reassemble my bed, which was a huge help. They kept everything organized, so unpacking was easy for me later. I also appreciated that the price matched exactly what was quoted, with no surprise charges. It's rare to find such reliable service these days.
The crew worked hard and kept a positive attitude throughout the move. They protected the furniture, handled the boxes carefully, and stayed organized during unloading. Overall, the relocation went smoothly.
They loaded my mattress last, so it got wedged in a weird position. Now there’s a permanent fold in the foam. I’ve had backaches ever since sleeping on it.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. United Express Moving & Storage holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
