Someday, I envision everyone appreciating Swift Shift Van Lines as deeply as I do. The level of service I received exceeded my expectations. They took great care when handling my furniture and other belongings while packing.
10 out of 10 for how the move turned out. I was helping set up for a small family event and needed help moving supplies to the venue. The crew came early, took a quick look around, and got right to it. Each item was packed with care and loaded in the order I suggested. They didn’t slow down or ask for instructions over and over.
We had a few antique items that required special handling, and we appreciated how seriously they took the job. They wrapped each piece in layers, double-checked their placement in the truck, and delivered them in great shape to our studio apartment. We couldn’t have asked for more!
William and his group were supportive and experts at their work. They packed and wrapped everything in foam sheets, bubble wrap and cartons of different sizes. I'm very happy to hire them because my move went very smoothly.
If you want something simple, try them. They checked in with me several times to make sure everything met my expectations, even though I had a simple relocation.
I helped my grandparents move from their longtime home into a smaller apartment, and we had so many oddly shaped, sentimental items to pack. From an antique mirror to their old rocking chair, everything was handled carefully. The movers weren't just efficient, they were thoughtful. It made a big difference during what could've been a tough day for our family.
Moving can be challenging, but John and the team made it a breeze! They arrived prepared, and Charles quickly assessed the situation. Even though I packed in a hurry, they reviewed everything and found the best way to load the vehicle.
Don’t be fooled by this company. They are not a true moving company. They outsource all of their movers. They sweet talked me, made everything sound great, claimed I was getting a bunch of discounts, but then they ended up charging me more than quoted. They sent three guys from a local moving company called Jackson Movers. They were awful. Two of the guys didn’t speak English and the foreman, who did speak English, disappeared for most of the packing, so I couldn’t even communicate with the guys packing my stuff. The first thing they did was drop one of my expensive crystals and then claimed that is was already broken. I ended up having to pack the crystals myself because they were doing such a piss poor job. They dumped most of my things into boxes, they didn’t label any of the boxes, and they didn’t end up taking half of my stuff. I had to rent a U-Haul and tow dolly for my car and pack and load the rest of my things, which cost me an extra $1,600. Then, they didn’t show up at my house where I moved to for a week. The moving company had changed once again, and this time the movers were Champion Movers. The foreman was a lazy fat cow who only brought in a few things and then sat in his truck for the rest of the time and let two other guys unload everything. The only good thing about the unloading was a local guy they hired named Joe. He was awesome. The foreman refused to take apart my desk and move it into my office so Joe stayed behind and dismantled my desk and moved it to my office and put it back together. He then also helped me move over a dozen plastic totes to my storage shed in my backyard. The foreman refused to unload them there because he said it was more than 75 ft and would be an extra charge. I had labeled all of my crystal boxes with fragile labels, which were completely ignored, many of the boxes were upside down, crushed, or smashed. Once I started unpacking things I found a lot of broken items. This moving experience was the worst I’ve ever had. DO NOT HIRE SWIFT SHIFT MOVERS.
Moving with a newborn seemed like a nightmare, but these movers were incredibly understanding and efficient. They worked quickly, made sure to keep noise levels low, and even helped rearrange furniture so we could set up the nursery easily. I highly recommend them!
My long-distance move had me worried about lost or damaged items. Joseph addressed these concerns with their detailed inventory system, meticulously documenting every box and piece of furniture. Everything arrived safely at my new home. They offered unpacking insurance for additional peace of mind. The entire process was transparent and trustworthy.
