This whole experience with Safe Ship has been a nightmare. Starting from pick up to current. They picked up my stuff on 7/9 and I still haven't received it. I was initially told it usually takes 14-21 business days.
Before the pick up, I was given the pick up window (1-2 days) and told to be notified at least 24 hours in advance for the exact date & time of pick up. However, they never contacted me and I had to call them first and that was when I got notified of the exact pick up date and time, which was the night before (~10 hours before). What if I didn't call them first? Were they going to notify me the morning of like 2 hours before they come? They never communicate clearly and will always give you the "estimate", which they will tell you it's "NOT guaranteed".
And it's been more than a month and I'm still waiting to receive my shipment. And there was not a single communication that was initiated by Safe Ship. I always have to call them first or open a ticket for them to provide me any update. When I called this Tuesday, I was told that the truck has left on Monday and it will be arriving either this Friday or Saturday. When I called again on Thursday because I needed to know if they were coming on Friday, now they were telling me the truck has left on Wednesday and it will be arriving either Sunday or Monday. They lie to you and will never give you the exact ETA.
I have a few moving experiences, but this has been the WORST experience I've ever had. I'm not a type of person who normally leaves a review but I had to for Safe Ship, to help other people to not go through this nightmare. Do NOT use Safe Ship for your move, and you're welcome.
