Read More I was helping my dad with his move from New Jersey to Virginia, and our experience with Top Nation Relocation was extremely frustrating. Please be aware they are a brokerage - they hire people out and very obviously do not have any contact with the people they hire. We sent Top Nation pictures of everything that needed to be moved, and our quote was based on those pictures. The move ultimately cost about $1,200 more than the original quote, and we were not given a clear explanation for the additional charges. The coordination was also a major issue. We scheduled a Thursday or Friday window, but Top Nation did not tell us which day or time the movers would arrive until Wednesday night, after we called them ourselves. We were then told the movers would arrive Thursday between 9 and 11 AM. They did not. After repeatedly calling, the movers finally arrived Friday night around 8 PM. This was made more stressful due to the fact that my dad needed to be out of his apartment on Friday. Had they not come, he would have been stuck. They told him his things would be delivered the next morning, but what a joke that was. I understand some scheduling issues were the responsibility of Home Run Van Lines, the moving company. However, Top Nation coordinated the move and was the company we booked with, so we expected them to communicate with us and help resolve these issues. Our point of contact, Justin, was particularly frustrating. When we needed help, he told us he did not have a manager, did not know where our belongings were, and could not help us. That is extremely concerning when you are trusting a company with your family member's entire household and thousands of dollars. They did not deliver my dad's things until three days after they said they would. He had no bed, no furniture, NOTHING, for three days. Moving is stressful enough without having to repeatedly call just to find out where your belongings are or when the movers are coming. Based on our experience, I would not use Top Nation Relocation again. Save yourself a GIANT headache. If you look at these reviews, most are 5 stars with names that all seem easily made up. I hope someone finds this one before they use Top Nation.

From the first quote request, the relocation specialist walked me through my entire home inventory and created a clear, open estimate with no hidden surprises. During the move, the company assigned to us arrived on time, wrapped every piece of furniture securely, and had no issues during the long haul. It was a great relief to know that they had taken care of everything.

Sales rep Jake Donnelly guaranteed our move would cost no more than $2,800 and that our belongings would arrive in Washington, D.C. by August 17th. He refused to explain what “first available date” meant, leading us to believe that was our delivery date. Only later did we learn it was the *start* of a 30‑day window — a critical detail deliberately withheld. The movers from Moving Services Nevada ignored repeated requests to confirm whether our items exceeded the 300 sq. ft. limit before loading. After everything was packed, they claimed we owed multiples in extra fees. This bait‑and‑switch robbed us of any chance to make informed decisions. For weeks, we called Top Nation for updates. No one could tell us where our belongings were. On move‑in day, we discovered our items were still sitting on a truck in Nevada with no driver assigned. When we finally reached another rep, Justin, he admitted there was “nothing he could do,” refused to connect us with management, and contradicted himself about having “personal contacts.” This company’s conduct — false assurances, hidden policies, and total lack of accountability — reflects systemic fraud and consumer abuse. We’ve since found multiple reports of identical experiences online, including a TikTok video exposing similar deceit toward an elderly customer. We are filing a formal complaint with the California Attorney General to help prevent others from being exploited. Top Nation Relocation should not be allowed to continue operating under such unethical practices.
