Read More Jack and his moving team amazed us with their meticulous attention to detail. They carefully loaded our belongings onto dollies and moved them to the moving vehicles. Furthermore, because of the long-distance move, they ensured that everything was securely fastened with thick belts for further protection in the truck. We are really grateful to them!

Read More The movers were experts at moving large, heavy objects out of doors and through narrow passages. They had to manually move my file cabinet, mattress, and wooden desk to get to the second level. Before they removed my furniture from the apartment, they wrapped it with blankets and plastic covers. Two movers assisted me when I wanted to install the TV on the wall. Outstanding service.

Read More I was in a bit of a bind. My apartment lease ended unexpectedly, and I needed to move quickly. Midland Van Lines was the only company who could fit me in on short notice. The crew, Andrew and Carl, arrived promptly and got right to work. They were fast but careful, packing boxes efficiently. They also took down some wall hangings and pack them securely. David had a hack for wrapping my mattress that saved tons of time! The whole move took less time than I expected, which was a huge relief! Midland Van Lines quick and efficient service saved the day.

Read More Midland Van Lines helped us with our dream retirement move from Chicago to Florida, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! My husband and I had a lot of sentimental items, and the Midland team treated everything with the utmost care. From the initial phone call to the final delivery, their professionalism shined through. We were kept informed the entire time, and when we arrived at our new home, everything was intact and on schedule. Moving to a new state was stressful, but Midland made it feel effortless. We’re so grateful for their fantastic service and highly recommend them

Read More DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If I could give zero stars, I would. I was given incorrect information from the beginning of this process in June, all the way to the very end in November. This company is completely incompetent in doing anything correctly. This entire thing was a headache. I could rarely get ahold of people. I dealt with Caleb, Gary, Thalia, and Frank. It would take multiple calls, emails, and texts to each person to even get a response days later. Eli, the foreman was nasty and aggressive when he arrived. He added $1k onto my price with cubic feet AND packing supplies which I had already provided. When I spoke with Frank at customer service to see why it was so much he kept talking over me rudely and repeating to me to read my contract and the fine print. He also kept asking me why I signed if I didn’t understand correctly. Eli asked me when I want the items to arrive. I said Friday 11/8, but then I also mentioned how I thought it takes up to 14 days. He said “No, I will get it there on this date.” When Friday came, I called customer service and was advised my items were in storage until 11/8 and how it takes 14 days from that date to arrive. I asked why I was told something else and he had nothing to say. When we finally got our items, we were charged an extra $16, even though we already paid during the first pickup. I understand it’s only $16, but it’s principle that this company will take and take and take any chance they get. They didn’t communicate it was already handled with Eli. The driver wouldn’t start until we paid it and no one from midland vans was answering numerous phone call attempts. Moving is stressful to begin with, and moving out of state is even worse. I highly recommend you do NOT use Midland Van Lines, it’s a complete crock, ran by crooks. They aren’t a moving company-they are a broker who sub out to others drivers, they do not own their own vans or have their own truck drivers. They claim they aren’t brokers, but they 100% are. Save the time and money and do yourself a huge favor and use another company!

Each box was labeled clearly, and fragile items were marked for special attention. At my new place, they placed furniture exactly where I wanted it and offered to help with assembly.

Joseph, the dispatcher, was a delight, organizing things beforehand and checking in during and after to ensure everything went smoothly. On a warm day, they moved every piece carefully, and nothing got damaged. Highly recommend!
