Read More I moved across provinces in a long-distance relocation that included both my apartment and a storage unit. The move was split over two days, which worried me about coordination. Thomas made sure everything stayed on schedule and that the right items went to the correct destination. I appreciated the organization and updates throughout the process. Literally from start told me they would pick up on Wednesday called several times to confirm date and time then tried to change my date to Thursday only one guy showed up 6 hrs late and alone when it was supposed to be a team, my belongings where to be delivered Friday 2 days later then got changed to delivery on Monday which is today and now they are saying 2-3 more days meanwhile my children are sleeping on the floor because we don’t have our beds and dnt know when we will be getting our things as they still have not been delivered and there has been no clear communication from Menards moving and storage on exactly when will be getting our belongings 🤬😤🤬😤

I had a two-bedroom move, with several fragile mirrors and a dining table I was worried wouldn’t fit through the door. They arrived with the right tools, handled everything smoothly, and even took the time to protect the floors. It was a huge relief once it was all done.

Read More Hiring Menards Moving Service added immense stress and financial strain to my out-of-state move from Georgia to Texas. Their sales agent Zac deserves the "Salesperson of the Year" award for telling you what you want to hear just to get the sale. Once you sign the contract, you will never hear from him again. They will defer you to customer service agents who provide no assistance whatsoever! This company is not a moving company; they are a broker, which is not stated clearly in their advertising or sales pitch. They hire a third-party moving company, which you can do yourself. They provide no bridge between you and the mover, referring to the mover as "dispatch." I was told my items would be delivered between 3 to 10 business days. I did not receive my items until after three weeks, with poor communication throughout. Anytime there was a delay, I was not informed until I called to see why my items had not been delivered. Once it was past the delivery date, I was promised three different delivery dates, all of which they failed to meet. Finally, after much frustration and financial straining, my items arrived. I called Menards and asked to speak to a supervisor or owner multiple times. None of my calls were ever returned. I was given an email to request a supervisor in detail about my experience, but this email was never responded to. Additionally, I ended up being charged three times the price quoted by Zac. This company will rip you off, provide financial strain, and add more stress to your move. You’re better off either moving your items yourself or selling your items and purchasing new items at your new location. Trust me, it will cost you less money. After asking if I could be provided a discount due to them not meeting the obligation for the estimated delivery date, I was told by Menard’s that this was not an option. By law, they have 21 days to deliver an item, even though I was quoted 3 to 10 days. When I reached out to "dispatch," a.k.a. the third-party moving company, they understood the stress and financial strain and were willing to give me a hefty discount. They mentioned that Menards never even reached out to them to ask if anything could be taken off the price. What is the point of having a broker if they are not even going to bridge the gap between you and the mover to get you the best option? I do not recommend Menards. The five-star reviews are all fake from employees. If you read the reviews that the owners respond to, you will see the unprofessionalism in their responses. Save yourself the trouble, the stress, and the financial strain. Move your items yourself or find a reputable moving company. Do not believe the false estimates on delivery dates, costs, and experiences.

The team brought extra wrapping and handled the boxes like they were full of valuables. All of my dishes and glassware arrived in perfect condition. I appreciated how they checked with me before loading anything. It felt very thoughtful.

Read More We downsized from a two-bedroom home to a much smaller condo and had to let go of a lot of furniture. The crew was extremely understanding and worked with us to separate what was staying, what was being donated, and what required special handling. They weren't pushy and didn't rush us. It was actually a much smoother day than I expected.

Contrary to what Richard told us, MENARDS IS A BROKER and doesn't have trucks/crews like we were told, and under the impression of, when we contracted with them. "Two Men ... Read More Contrary to what Richard told us, MENARDS IS A BROKER and doesn't have trucks/crews like we were told, and under the impression of, when we contracted with them. "Two Men And a Truck" arrived with a 21 y.o. leader + two guys that barely spoke english. They immediately asked for more money saying we had more stuff than contracted (although we had several calls, a thorough inventory, AND a video walkthrough with Menards). We agreed to $500 more and shook on it. AFTER all was on the truck, leader said he made a mistake and it'd be $2100 more! No! so the next hour was the phone being passed around between Menards (including elevated up to THE Mr. Menard), Polaris (the company Menards contracted out to, who I guess contracted out to "Two Men"), and the crew lead. The 2 crew guys became increasingly agitated and blew up and started quickly and roughly unloading everything into the street, yard, and driveway. They drove away at 7pm leaving huge wooden heavy furniture in the street! Mendards must've chastised Polaris because they called/apologized that night and asked if the crew could come back, say "they were sorry", and get it done by midnight. No way were we going to hand our stuff over to the angry guys again. Polaris then admitted that if our stuff didn't get on the road that night, it would miss the connecting truck (yes a 4th company involved). My husband hurt his recent hernia surgery moving stuff off the street and driveway. His condition is why we hired "professionals" vs diy! We waited 2 more days before Polaris picked up our stuff, putting us way behind our move, and the final destination delivery was made by Raptor Van Lines, obviously later then originally scheduled. I have receipts, videos showing the unload, damage, and payment records to Menards, Polaris, and Raptor. Menards is not responding to the calls and we are getting the run around on our damage complaint, provided a wrong link to claim, and messages of "agents not available at this time".

Despite a snowstorm, the team arrived on time. They laid down protective coverings and ensured no mess was made. Honest, reliable professionals. Wonderful Company to use ...
