Read More Honestly, I booked the wrong date online. Showed up at the old house ready to go, and nobody came. Checked my email, and sure enough, I put the wrong day. Called them embarrassed, and they said, " Hold on, let us see what we can do. They had a team at my place within two hours. I know that messed up their schedule, but they never made me feel stupid about it.

Read More I moved my home office and a large library of comic books that are stored in thin cardboard boxes. If those boxes get crushed, the books lose their value, so I was very protective of them. The movers listened to my instructions and stacked the comic bins on top of the heavier furniture, so nothing was sitting on them. They were very mindful of the "this side up" labels I had written on everything. I would definitely use Howards Van Line again.

Read More If you are looking at reviews, trying to decide who to hire, just book these guys already. I spent two weeks reading reviews and stressing over which company to pick. Finally went with Howards Van Line because they answered the phone on a Sunday when I called with questions. They showed up Tuesday morning and finished before lunch. My stuff made it across town in one piece, and the price was exactly what they quoted on the phone.

Called Howards Van Line, and they said no problem, we do night moves all the time. They showed up at six thirty with lights on their truck and got everything loaded in the dark.

Read More This company called me after I searched online for a Movers for my relocation to Florida from North Carolina. The representative advised me that if he could give me a decent price for my 1 bedroom apartment move, would I consider it and I did. He stated that they already had a move near by in the area so the cost would be minimal at best. I agreed and we did the financial part with ACH bank transfer (which you cant get back after 5 days). I didnt hear back from them until 3 days before the move and then was quoted a new amount which was double the amount. I declined, then was called back by their quality assurance person & with adjustments, I agreed to continue the contract...long to short, when they picked up my things, they only could take half the items...now I've been in Florida for 2 wks and they have no idea when or where my things are....and they still expect the last payment from me also. This was a scam from jump...even their moving people were like..."Sue if you can, they do this often".
