They even helped me move a heavy dresser upstairs. It was a smooth experience from start to finish.

We needed to move some things we inherited from our late father who passed away this July. It was going to require us hiring a moving company. I went online and typed in moving companies to get the quotes going by filling out the online form. The following day, I received a phone call from a very nice young lady- very polite, nice southern accent. She complimented me saying that my name was beautiful. She documented what we needed to love and stated that someone will follow up with me shortly. About 30 minutes later, I receive a phone call from "JERRY". Oh yes, the infamous Jerry. Like the previous young lady- Jerry was also very sweet. He listed, offered great advice and make it seem as though the entire move was going to be flawless. He mentioned about white glove service, their dedication to their clients. He stated that he loved my husband's name "Raymond' and always wished his name was Raymond. I thought he was laying it on too thick- but sticking to the reason for the call, was to get a quote and set the expectation. Jerry then stated that we were in luck with the dates we needed as the other customer cancelled and so he could commit to the dates we wanted which was pick up on 11/07/25 and drop off on 11/08/25. We listed with Jerry in our contract- specifically what we needed to transport. He then acknowledged and provided me with a contract for a total of $3147.61. I paid up front $1619.00 which they drafted from our account, as they refused to accept credit cards for payment. We were instructed that they will reach out to us with details. As the week went by, no one contacted us. My husband took off on Friday to be available for the pickup. Contacted Jerry- no response. Contacted the office- no response. They showed up on Saturday. I noticed the truck was already stocked with someone else's belongings- so we are sharing the space. After they loaded the truck, one of the 3 men (he looked like Jaffar from Alladin) his name was Aamar. He was the leader. He came with new paperwork- which he was re-doing the original contract. This was their way of cheating people. He would then rewrite the entire contract with a new contract number. As he did so, I noticed the contract number was different. I also noticed that the price was now $11,000.00!! He claims that the cubic feet I paid for was only 428. Tell me how many people are familiar with cubic feet. Did we discuss cubic feet when I spoke with Jerry? No. No such thing. I provided a list of items I needed to be moved, how is it my job to calculate what cubic space my dresser is or my boxes or whatever it is I am transporting? This to me is the most unethical thing have ever encountered. One more thing they get you on is- for most homes in NY, we have an average of 12-15 steps in our stairs. Their contract says anything step over 10- will incur additional charges. What a slime bag thing to do. So back to the demand of $11000.00. It is now 7PM on 11/08/25- tired and frustrated, Aamar is demanding his money. My husband went to the ATM and took out $1000, and we zelle them $500, because the activity triggered an alert at the bank- freezing the account. Aamar was okay with getting an additional $1500.00, so they left. He also told me that they will not deliver the items until we paid them 'cash'. They refused bank checks and wanted postal money orders. These were all red flags but we were already so deep in- with all my dad's memorabilia- I had my hand in the lion's mouth. The next several days were very stressful. No one contacted us- no follow ups, nothing. We were waiting in another state, paying for lodging while waiting for our stuff. They called asking about their payment. I had initially gotten a bank check to pay them, but they refused the check so I made another trip to the bank, re-deposited the check, took cash and went to to the post office. They arrived on 11/11/25. The first thing Aamar said was- where is the money? He wanted me to sign his documents without verifying if all our stuff arrived in one piece. What a joke. I also failed to mention while dealing with the new contract, there was the boss man on the phone. He said his name was 'John'. He was extremely disrespectful. He was not respectful to me, but he spoke with my husband and seemed to work better with men-a cultural challenge for him it seems. I have since reached out to the Comptroller's Office and will file a complaint with BBB. This business seems to have several different names affiliated with them, one being 'Noble moving'. Please be very careful when hiring a moving company. I will never hire this company to ever help me with moving. I also think they may have a way to get rid of bad reviews, I can't see how anyone would have a pleasant experience with them. The 'great' reviews they receive should be investigated. This company needs to be investigated- and shut down. No fines, they make a vast amount of money cheating people with their dishonesty. By giving them a fine- will only keep them in business. Shame on this company, you have made our moving experience a nightmare. Funny enough- there are other people whom you have cheated the same way! PS- damage was also done to our home, along with broken fence and furniture.

Read More If I could give a company negative stars I would. My quote started at $3100 and then went up to $5200 because I added quite a few large items, which I completely understood. To better quote me they asked for a photo of the items, which I sent and they quoted based off those photos. Come to pick up time, NOTHING was explained in terms of how much additional money it would be for the extra space. Keep in mind, nothing additional, inventory wise, was added from the previous photos. My father was at the pick up location while I was at the drop off. They didn’t collect the 50% of the remainder from my father, which they were adamant about prior to the move, and just said they’d wait to fulfill payment with me at the destination. THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING. I had told my dad to not accept anything over the quote of $5200. They didn’t discuss with my father, which made him believe nothing had changed. They got to the destination and our quote DOUBLED. Keep in mind. NOTHING changed from the photo evidence of what was being taken and those photos were what it was quoted by. I spoke with my father and my husband and they wouldn’t leave until we paid, rightfully so with any company. So obviously we agreed to pay to get them out of our hair. Their payment system is DISGUSTING. They don’t accept any form of normal payment. Zelle or wire only, which my bank would not allow over the phone. It took over 2 hours to get my bank to agree to release even some of the funds and for the majority of the rest we ended up having to Venmo from several phones, Zelle from several phones and then still owe some on top, because of the Zelle and Venmo limits per day. For such a “high quality company” they have access to ZERO technology. DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO SCAM YOU. We are a military family and it is extremely disappointing for a company to pride themselves on being military owned when they are robbing people blind. Our quote went from $5200 to $9200 because of an additional 300 cubic feet, which we were originally quoted at 600 cubic feet. Make that doubling make sense to me. $9200 for a move from NC to SC that took a TOTAL of 7 hours to complete and wasn’t even a full two bedrooms of items + Some shop tools. The most disgusting company to ever exist and I will be shouting from the rooftops to NEVER use this company till the end of my days. This move was supposed to help save my husband and I some money on items for our new house that was gifted by my parents. We ended up spending more on this scumbag company then it would've been to buy the items brand new.

Read More I got 2 quotes from then, and then once the movers arrived they scammed me. Requested almost $10,000 for a 200 mile move for a 2 bedroom apartment. Said that I needed to pay up front once all of my items were on their truck. They held my property hostage. Ruined my furniture. I requested a COI, no response. Piss poor company. DO NOT TRUST THEM.
