Read More UPDATE: Bottom line up front: There has been a complete lack of communication after pickup. I was told at pickup that I would get a call on my first available date for delivery with a schedule for when actual delivery would occur. Nobody called. I called the next day and was told transit hadn’t been scheduled, they didn’t know my stuff would be delivered but “we have until June 2nd” and to call in a couple days. I called 3 days later and was told the same thing. Called again 3 days later with no change. At reservation pickup I was told delivery in 10 days. At pickup I was told 10 days from the first available date. Then on my second available date I was told it’s 10 business days. I’ve been without my stuff for 10 calendar days now, I’ve called 4 times, and nobody can tell me anything except “it hasn’t been scheduled yet”. This is unacceptable and the woman in dispatch I keep having the misfortune of talking to is the least helpful person I’ve encountered. You can tell when someone doesn’t care about the job they’re doing and she simply does not care. I went from thrilled with my choice in mover to completely disappointed by their lack of communication and follow through. Communicate ALL the information up front and if you say you’re going to do something (like call on a specific day), you do it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Danny and crew were AMAZING!!! Very professional, and 100% looking out for the safety of my stuff! They made this the BEST MOVE EVER and I absolutely HATE moving. Thank you Danny and the boys!!! Also, my dogs loved them which means you know they’re good people.

Read More DO NOT US THEM! I moved from St Louis, MO to Northern CA. Most of my things were damaged and they didn't deliver on time. It was almost 2 weeks late. They promised my things would come straight to my new place and they put it into storage. It was a nightmare. They definitely subcontract out and are not honest about things. There contract for insurance afterwards is only cents to the pound not dollar value of items. So you think you're covered if anything is damaged but you're really not. I had probably close to $50,000 worth of damage and only got less than $300 back. They literally folded my CAL King mattress in half, damaging it and claimed I did it. Plus lots more in damaged!

Read More We have a giant collection of old comic books, each in plastic sleeves and arranged in alphabetical order. I was nervous about mixing them up. These guys respected the system: they kept each box labeled by decade and made sure not to stack anything too heavy on top. They asked if the boxes were humidity-sensitive so they could place them in a part of the truck that wouldn’t get too warm. Unpacking the comics was straightforward because everything was exactly as I had organized it. A collector’s dream, to be honest.

Read More I was juggling a hectic schedule, so I needed a mover that could accommodate an evening load-up. This service had no problem with a late start. They arrived around 5 PM and worked diligently into the night. I was amazed at how quickly they disassembled my platform bed and packed up all my kitchen gadgets. By the time everything was on the truck, it was well past normal business hours, but they didn’t show any sign of impatience. Truly appreciated the flexibility and thorough job they did.

This time, I labeled all my book boxes carefully, and this crew handled them like it was no big deal. They also recommended distributing the books in smaller crates instead of a few large boxes, which saved everyone’s backs. They loaded my entire library neatly, ensuring no corners were bent. Unloading was a breeze, and they placed the crates in the exact room I needed. Top-tier service for a bookworm like me.

Read More I had an extremely disappointing experience with BLVD Moving Company. The communication throughout my cross-country move was the worst I’ve ever encountered. My items arrived outside of the promised delivery window, and when they finally did, the delivery driver was rude and completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, there were numerous hidden fees that were never mentioned during my initial call with the company. What was presented upfront was far from the reality of what I ended up paying. Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. I would not recommend BLVD Moving to anyone looking for a smooth, honest, or professional moving service.

Booked this company for long distance move from Indianapolis to Bradenton, FL. I got quotes from several different companies and made the decision to go with BLVD because ... Read More Booked this company for long distance move from Indianapolis to Bradenton, FL. I got quotes from several different companies and made the decision to go with BLVD because Johnny from the sales team I spoke with gave me the cheapest rate in comparison to the other quotes. I should've taken that as my sign it was too good to be true. Johnny failed to mention they would be servicing my move to another company (Stanford Van Lines) which took over immediately at the time of pickup for my items. When I went to call Johnny, I was told by another BLVD move member he was assigned to a special project, and they had changed my moving coordinators. This made it that much harder to try to get anything figured out. My main issues ended up coming from the company that serviced and completed my move, so I will leave those issues out of this review. With BLVD- my issues were with the communication and poor estimating from Johnny and his team. I was quoted at close to $4k up to the day of the move. Sure enough, it shot up to nearly $5800 when the movers arrived. It was clearly a bait and switch move just to get my business in the door. Especially once they serviced my move, they had no concern what happened from there. Once they get your security deposit, their team stops communicating with you unless you continue to call or email them. The one positive note I will leave is after my nightmare experience with Stanford Van Lines, Tina T. from BLVD customer service team gave me a call and listened to my concerns, and helped resolve an issue with the delivery team not showing up in a shuttle truck, which I had paid $515 extra for. Tina was the only helpful person I had from BLVD during the entire process. Thank you Tina. This company had decent reviews and obviously the lowest price, so I went with them. They may be better if they use their assigned teams (Pickup and delivery), but I cannot speak on that side. I know for sure if I do another long distance move, I would not seek services again from BLVD. They will tell you everything you want to hear in the beginning, and then it will all change post them receiving your payment.

They packed meticulously, loaded the truck efficiently and finished the move earlier than expected. We’d hire them again in a heartbeat!

Better logistics planning - this is an odd one… communicated in advance we live on a narrow street and they didn’t take any action on it. They ended pulling up with a 53’ trailer and the driver was at risk of getting a ticket 2. Lack of accurate information - the office told drivers we weren’t ready to receive the shipment so they were making their way to another city (6 hrs away) but luckily I called the drivers directly to inquire and they were able to reroute 3. Incorrect pricing - got an updated price once we confirmed the final tally of boxes. The updated rate was never updated in the system which caused a lot of confusion with the drivers.
