Read More Booked this company for long distance move from Indianapolis to Bradenton, FL. I got quotes from several different companies and made the decision to go with BLVD because Johnny from the sales team I spoke with gave me the cheapest rate in comparison to the other quotes. I should've taken that as my sign it was too good to be true. Johnny failed to mention they would be servicing my move to another company (Stanford Van Lines) which took over immediately at the time of pickup for my items. When I went to call Johnny, I was told by another BLVD move member he was assigned to a special project, and they had changed my moving coordinators. This made it that much harder to try to get anything figured out. My main issues ended up coming from the company that serviced and completed my move, so I will leave those issues out of this review. With BLVD- my issues were with the communication and poor estimating from Johnny and his team. I was quoted at close to $4k up to the day of the move. Sure enough, it shot up to nearly $5800 when the movers arrived. It was clearly a bait and switch move just to get my business in the door. Especially once they serviced my move, they had no concern what happened from there. Once they get your security deposit, their team stops communicating with you unless you continue to call or email them. The one positive note I will leave is after my nightmare experience with Stanford Van Lines, Tina T. from BLVD customer service team gave me a call and listened to my concerns, and helped resolve an issue with the delivery team not showing up in a shuttle truck, which I had paid $515 extra for. Tina was the only helpful person I had from BLVD during the entire process. Thank you Tina. This company had decent reviews and obviously the lowest price, so I went with them. They may be better if they use their assigned teams (Pickup and delivery), but I cannot speak on that side. I know for sure if I do another long distance move, I would not seek services again from BLVD. They will tell you everything you want to hear in the beginning, and then it will all change post them receiving your payment.

They packed meticulously, loaded the truck efficiently and finished the move earlier than expected. We’d hire them again in a heartbeat!

Better logistics planning - this is an odd one… communicated in advance we live on a narrow street and they didn’t take any action on it. They ended pulling up with a 53’ trailer and the driver was at risk of getting a ticket 2. Lack of accurate information - the office told drivers we weren’t ready to receive the shipment so they were making their way to another city (6 hrs away) but luckily I called the drivers directly to inquire and they were able to reroute 3. Incorrect pricing - got an updated price once we confirmed the final tally of boxes. The updated rate was never updated in the system which caused a lot of confusion with the drivers.

Read More We hired this moving company for a local move last month. William and his team were absolute lifesavers! They showed up on time, hustled throughout the day, and kept a positive attitude the entire time. They disassembled and reassembled some furniture, which was a huge help. Highly recommend!

From carefully packing fragile items to wrapping and securing heavy furniture, they did it all. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and helped with reassembling some of our furniture at the new house. It was a solid 5-star experience!
