Read More I was worried about my large collection of books because the boxes were incredibly heavy and hard to carry. This team didn't mind the weight at all and stacked them perfectly in the back of the truck. They used plenty of straps to make sure nothing would slide around while they were driving through the city streets. I really appreciated the way they handled the entire day.

Read More I have many large canvases and fragile supplies that need soft handling. The team arrived early and spent a lot of time wrapping everything in protective layers before they even touched the truck. They drove carefully and unpacked every item exactly where I pointed. Seeing my equipment arrive safely was a massive relief. I’ll be calling them again if I ever have to relocate my workspace.

I was told 4 guys would be there for the move. That is the reason I went with them. Two showed up. They contracted with another company 'Adam Moving and Storage' out of N ... Read More I was told 4 guys would be there for the move. That is the reason I went with them. Two showed up. They contracted with another company 'Adam Moving and Storage' out of NJ. My items were the middle group on the truck. I was told after my items were secured they were going to NJ for a pickup. This last group of items would go to VA. My items, in the middle of the truck would be delivered next to NC and the items that were in the very front of the truck were going to CA. My items were in a 10x10 U-Haul storage unit. I had always mentioned a specific delivery date and was told that they would call me the day before. That call never happened. When calling the driver, I was hung up on, then my calls went to vm. When I called Americas Family Moving and Services, they do not have hours on the w/e, so I had to leave a message. (No one called me back). After about half a dozen calls to Adam moving, I was told my items would be delivered the next day. (1 day after the agreed upon date). A driver showed up. That's right. One person. Items that were in storage unit were, but not limited to: 2 dressers, 2nightstands, glass curio cabinet, dining room buffet, 2 tv's, 2-piece love seat sectional, 2 mini wardrobes, and about 25 totes and boxes. The crazy thing was that my items were the only ones on the truck on the day of deliver. Meaning, my items were moved off the truck, the items that were in the front of the truck were removed and then my items were put back on the truck. Some of my items came up missing and I am still waiting for them. Owner has not called me back and the driver keeps saying that he will take a picture of items in the warehouse and send them to me, but I have not seen them yet. Don't do it.

I hired the service for shifting items from my store to my house. The team arrived on schedule and followed my instructions clearly. They handled my home goods with care. ... Read More I hired the service for shifting items from my store to my house. The team arrived on schedule and followed my instructions clearly. They handled my home goods with care. There were around 50 boxes of my packed things, which the team loaded carefully into the delivery van and then offloaded them in my house.

They arrived promptly, packed everything securely, and worked quickly. I was so impressed with how efficiently everything went, and I’m grateful for their help.

Read More The only worse possibility would be that my stuff never made it. Pretty dang close though, I was sold an experience that was not provided. The communication after the first phone call was nonexistent, there were surprise fees after the fact, and they held onto our things over 5 weeks past when we had discussed. It got to a point where I truly thought I'd never see our things again. The moving brokerage company wouldn't respond for a week at times or until I called multiple times in a row, and even then, it was just a text. When our things showed up missing two bins and a broken tv, they sent us to the wrong insurance company for a claim. After many calls I was finally able to get the correct one, and we won't know for months whether we'll get anything back from it. If anyone who was delivered in late November or December got two extra black totes with yellow lids please email me. There are sentimental items I would love to see again. [email protected]
