They came in, assessed the layout, and got to work like true experts. Stairs, narrow halls, large furniture—nothing phased them. I’ve never had such a calm moving day. All my stuff was secure and on time. FANTASTIC service!
They communicated their arrival time, upon arrival they were very professional and friendly. We had fun with jokes and conversation. They made me feel very comfortable with them handling my personal belongings and respected any instructions that I had. They handle everything very carefully and if they had questions or concerns they asked in a professional manner. I would definitely use them again and refer friends to use their services as well. The movers were absolutely amazing. They were very respectful of our piano, in spite of the fact that they had to carry it up multiple flights. I cannot say enough good words. it arrived without a scratch and put back together with ease yet gently.
On moving day, Paul and his team were efficient, kind, and extremely careful. They disassembled items, packed what we hadn’t finished, and wrapped everything with great care. Two team members drove the trucks to South Carolina and unloaded everything the very next day. The pricing was very fair, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free.
My studio apartment was cleared and delivered in hours. The team made sure every single box was handled gently. They took time with the details and didn’t cut corners. Communication was steady the whole day. Every item was in perfect shape upon arrival. It couldn’t have gone more smoothly. A TRUE five-star experience!
• When initially agreeing to use XVan Lines to move my household goods, the total price was $7,800. At the pre-moving conversation, a week prior to the move the price increased to $11,000 and when the movers arrived the price increased to $14,410. • I asked and was re-assured that they would provide a weight ticket, only to have the movers communicate no-one communicated to them to get a weigh ticket. • My house move-in date changed from the initial date. When I communicated the change of delivery date to XVan Lines, I was assured this would not be a problem. Then I was called a week prior to the initial delivery date saying the goods were set to be dropped off and told from XVan lines no one had record of my communication with them about the change in date, even though I was assured multiple times from employees that the change in delivery date would be no problem. • Multiple items were severely damaged on the move, such as my dryer which the top was disconnected from the dryer; dining room table which we cannot use the leaf or extend the table due to the damage; along with many other items. When providing all documentation for damages and compensation, the company offered to pay $75.00. • When attempting to communicate with Xan Line representatives, I would consistently be told I would receive calls back but constantly would not get a call or communication back. I asked to talk with managers about my experiences but would not get a contact back. When asking representatives why they didn’t call me back, often the responses were that they were busy or sorry that they had forgot. I have 8 different documented instances where I was either hung up on or did not receive a phone call back from the company.
All the necessary traits to make a stressful move an actual enjoyable experience. These guys have completed three moves for my family over the past 1-2 years and each time they still blow me away with their amazing "We Got You, Don't Worry" attitude and smiles!!! The crew of 3 I had today were phenomenal! I thought it would take much longer than it did. I had to keep pushing the date back and added on trash removal last minute when they arrived.
