West Coast Express Moving – ZERO STARS
This is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. If you value your sanity, your money, and your belongings, do not hire West Coast Express Moving or Chiarella Transportation and Relocation Inc. Here’s what happened: • They picked up my mother’s items on May 2, 2025. We didn’t see her belongings again until early September. Four months! • We were originally promised delivery by June 4. Then, after the fact, they claimed they had “30 days from that date” to deliver. Total bait and switch. • They doubled the charges after her things were already on the truck, leaving us no choice but to pay under pressure. • They rarely answered phones or emails, and when they did, they were dismissive, rude, and dishonest. • We caught them in multiple lies about delivery dates. Calls were hung up on, texts ignored, emails never returned. This company operates with zero integrity. They lie, they dodge responsibility, they extort more money mid-move, and they treat customers with absolute disrespect. Save yourself the nightmare—do not use West Coast Express Moving under any circumstances. I wouldn’t trust them to move a single box across the street.

worth the money.
The crew arrived within the scheduled time window. They were very nice and efficient, took good care of my stuff, and explained things on the contract clearly to me. I have done packing mostly myself, but they did help with some minor packing and they also gave me some useful packing suggestions for my future moving. Their price is not the cheapest in town, but I feel the quality of the service is definitely worth the money.

They treated all of my belongings with respect
They treated all of my belongings with respect, wrapped everything properly, and handled my fragile items so carefully. Communication before, during, and after the move was amazing as well, it definitely gave me peace of mind. The team was kind, hardworking, organized, and extremely detail-oriented. They made my move feel effortless, and I’m so grateful I chose them. If you need movers you can trust- especially for big moves across state lines, West Coast Express Moving is the company to go with. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for movers!!!

very professional and “painless
From the initial phone call with Melissa to the final payment everything was very professional and “painless”. We actually used their services twice in a 30 day or so period as my parents were moving to Ocala so they were able to unload the truck into their storage unit then once the house was closed sent another crew to reload a truck out of the storage unit then unload it at their new house.

Highly recommend.
Michael and crew worked so hard to get these two seniors packed and moved all in one day. The work was hard and the speed was impressive. Our stuff arrived damage free. Highly recommend.

They were so quick,
I've moved many times, and this was by far the best experience. They were on time, careful with my belongings, and super friendly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Moving is never fun, but they made it enjoyable. They were so quick, I was able to set up my place while they were finishing unloading.

Bait and Switch
My son was moving from a single apt in N Hollywood to Salem Oregon for a new job. I contacted several movers and told them the size of the move, when and where we were going. West Coast sent us paperwork to list all of the items and the number of boxes we were transporting, which we did. They gave us the estimate which was very good and told me it was because they had a load going up already so it would be cheaper than the others if we were flexible on the date. We were and after seeing the estimate we paid our deposit. When the mover arrived he immediately made us pay a $500 fee for shuttle which we had not agreed to. He said pay or we will not transport. Then he re-estimated the load. We had not added a single thing to the load. He agreed we had not but told us that it was more than they had estimated in sq. ft. and and the price was now triple the original estimate. Over $5000. I contacted the company and they said basically to bad. Yes we miscalculated but you either pay it or we will only take half of your load. The driver said he would put half of it in the street If we didn't pay for the whole thing. They had already loaded it. I feel this is a case of bait and switch and I will be taking them to court or arbitration. Do not trust their estimates, especially Randy Fox. They are either very bad at their job or start out with the intent of scamming you. I do not know which.

very polite, courteous, and hard working.
4 young men from West Coast Express Moving just finished unloading our furniture. They loaded it all this morning and early afternoon and then unloaded it all, being sure to ask where each piece of furniture was to be placed. All 4 were very polite, courteous, and hard working. I would strongly recommend West Coast Express Moving for anyone who wants to save their backs when when moving heavy furniture.

They will not disappoint.
Once again, they delivered exceptional service. They were prompt, efficient, and took good care of our belongings. The crew was personable, professional, and easy to work with. They made moving a smooth and stress-free process. We have made several referrals to friends and family and will continue to refer new business to this company. We highly recommend their services. They will not disappoint.

Worst Experience Ever
Got the ole bait and switch with this company. Salesman Mike assured me every step of the way. Sent him detailed list AND video of every item going, and we even eliminated a bunch after the fact. Got a price that seemed reasonable, until they showed up. Loaded less than half the truck they brought and informed us we had reached our allotted space. Price tripled at that point from 5k to 15k. Was told by salesman how their drivers would be there all the way, only to discover it was to be unloaded into a semi and placed on the message boards for the lowest bidder " we handle all your packing and come with everything" they came with not a single box and then charged us for having to pack.....and drove into town to get boxes. I would have saved money selling it all and using that 15k to start over. What a joke. I will be down rating them everywhere I can and reporting them to bbb. Delivery? Who knows but won't improve this horrible experience. I trusted a supposed "family company". They are about as much family as a pile of stones.
