Despite my fear of the move, the movers exuded an energetic and positive energy. They lifted our spirits, made us laugh, and turned what could have been a miserable day into something fun.
The move had several avoidable problems from beginning to end. There was a late arrival, unclear communication, and the work took considerably longer than expected. I spent much of the day trying to keep everything on track. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We were shipping some of our belongings ahead to another city. The logistics were tricky, but this company’s moving experts laid everything out clearly. They packed and shipped the items exactly on schedule, and the staff kept me posted with updates until delivery. It couldn’t have been smoother!
The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.
We had 3 stops during our long-distance move: storage, old house, and the new place. We were bracing for something to get dropped at the wrong location, but they kept a detailed inventory and ticked each delivery off as we went. Everything landed exactly where it was supposed to. We thank them sincerely!
Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.
I called these people in a panic after an emergency move. They arrived within hours and quickly assisted me in moving out of my previous residence. They were completely life-saving. Their professionalism and efficiency made the entire process much easier than I expected. I am incredibly grateful for their support during such a stressful time.
Using these movers makes difficult situations, like moving overseas, much easier. They were there for me every step of the way, helping me with packing and moving difficulties. There were no setbacks or damages because of their expertise.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
