I've moved several times, and this was the easiest so far. The team worked steadily and kept items organized. They packed and loaded the items without delay and placed the boxes where I asked. Swift Shift Van Lines handled the process professionally and made it simple.
With order MC-2412, I was impressed by the smoothness of everything. The movers were well prepared, worked well together and didn't get the process started in a confusing way. They took care of my furniture, which was very appreciated. There was no damage done and the entire move was well organized throughout.
Having these guys on the team was a delight. They seemed to have a lot of expertise, were well-organized, and were upbeat. I felt very comfortable leaving everything to them.
If you're considering relocation, I recommend this firm. Their trained movers handle every kind of move. I was concerned about my furniture, but they reassured me. Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
The performance of Swift Shift Van Lines was excellent! Their packing and moving services were first-rate; I'm happy I used them. My number one concern was the care with which my property was treated. I spent a considerable penny on nice furniture, so it was meaningful to me. They did a fantastic job. Completely undamaged. Great job, everyone!
Our cross-town move turned out to be much more involved than we expected, but Swift Shift Van Lines experts handled every aspect with impressive skill. The movers arrived with all the necessary materials – boxes, blankets, straps – and packed our entire 3-bedroom home in few hours. When we got to the new house, they carefully unloaded each box into the corresponding room, and set up our furniture just as we requested. They deserve nothing but praise!
I got in touch with Jack and his company about two weeks ahead of time for a neighborhood move. He sent out great workers who showed up on time and got to work packing. Even though there were a lot of stacked boxes and big parts, they moved all easily.
Price doubled when movers showed up and started loading , then when my furniture showed up, there was over $7000 in damage and rendered most things useless. Multiple phone calls led no where and insurance doesnt reply.
The first thing David did when he arrived was walk through the whole apartment and make a note of everything before touching a single item. I thought that was a really thoughtful way to start because it meant nothing got missed and there were no surprises later. He kept checking in throughout the day and made sure I was happy with where things were going.
