I found the overall moving process frustrating. Clear information and timely updates would have made a big difference. The arrangements could have been managed more professionally. I hope the company improves its service standards.
We did have a sectional that was able to be divided into several sections but it was difficult to get through the door. The movers were very careful to disassemble and reassemble it at the new location. All cushions and pieces were kept together.
There was a lot to do before moving day and Swift Shift Van Lines made one thing easier. They were very helpful in packing and transporting and were very cooperative when we needed them to help. They were helpful and took care of our belongings, and made our move easier.
Once we moved into our old home, we had a very limited space to park the cars, but the movers didn't get into trouble. They maintained an orderly loading process and they were courteous to the other residents. All transport to the new location was made in a safe manner.
We scheduled our move to be a weekday morning and it went very smoothly. The Swift Shift Van Lines staff were friendly and were working as a coordinated team. They took care of the furniture, packed boxes and other household belongings. Their professional approach in the job was appreciated.
Their movers were the pros of the pros! On moving day, it rained heavily, and I was sure that my furniture would be lost. However, to my relief, the team brought plastic wrap, waterproof tarps and even gloves to keep my belongings clean. I was wet by the end of the move; my belongings were not. Bravo to them!
The delivery took considerably longer than I was told it would. I had very little information while waiting and had to contact the company for updates. This made it difficult to organize my day. Overall, the experience was frustrating.
At the end of the day, it was just nice to see everything safely in the new location! The crew did an amazing job of making what could have been a very long day very manageable.
There was a short time to move out. They worked quickly and efficiently with no corners cut and had the place packed in record time. Outstanding work!
When hiring movers from this company, I faced a dilemma about what to store and they went the extra mile for me. They helped me sort and put my necessities in the bag, they marked and labeled them, and even put my storage in order for me. Thank you for having faith in me!
