This incredible crew helped us move during a winter storm. They arrived with safety mats and covered the floor inside my new apartment so that snow wouldn't be tracked in. They also took further precautions to protect my books and electronics by placing them in airtight containers. Despite the severe weather, I was surprised by the degree of professionalism.
We were quite amazed by these individuals. They were pleasant to work with, dependable, and efficient. Despite transporting delicate items, nothing was damaged. Our upcoming maneuver will benefit from these!
These movers really eased the emotional burden of moving my kid into his dorm. They helped him set up his small refrigerator and workstation. What a brilliant group!
Swift Shift Van Lines was suggested to me, and they delivered as promised. The service I received from Michael from the first call through the estimate and moving day was outstanding. The week before, he made sure I was doing okay, which was reassuring. And on that potentially tense day, he and another person kept things lighthearted and even comical. They were cheerful, and the rain was of no concern to them. Much appreciation, everyone!
It was necessary to relocate a 2-bedroom home to NY. Swift Shift Van Lines was the greatest moving firm to hire. On the day of my relocation, the crew showed up ready to work. Before placing it on their vehicle, they wrapped every piece of furniture in blankets and tape. They took the same amount of care with my boxes. I was amazed at how skillfully they managed the move.
If you want something simple, try them. They checked in with me several times to make sure everything met my expectations, even though I had a simple relocation.
Moving day made me nervous, but Richard and the staff put me at ease. David carefully labeled and packed my many boxes into the car. He avoided scuffs when loading my sofa through my small front entry, which I appreciated.
I was nervous about my long-distance move, but everything arrived on time and in great shape. They wrapped furniture securely and didn’t rush the process. Very thankful for how simple they made it.
I paid for $4000 for 800 cubic square feet and they only allowed me 640 when their subcontracted moving company arrived. We measured ourselves and they told us to contact Swift which claims no responsibility once your items are turned over to the moving company that they contract out to. This is the most deceitful company I have ever dealt with, they also did damage to our flooring and are completely unprofessional. Don't let the good reviews fool you, you will pay double. Rent a U-Haul and save thousands and save yourself the entire headache of dealing with such an unprofessional company.
