My daughter had several large canvases from her art school. The movers placed cardboard between them and kept them upright. Watching her hang them in her new room without damage made both of us very happy.
Don’t be fooled by this company. They are not a true moving company. They outsource all of their movers. They sweet talked me, made everything sound great, claimed I was getting a bunch of discounts, but then they ended up charging me more than quoted. They sent three guys from a local moving company called Jackson Movers. They were awful. Two of the guys didn’t speak English and the foreman, who did speak English, disappeared for most of the packing, so I couldn’t even communicate with the guys packing my stuff. The first thing they did was drop one of my expensive crystals and then claimed that is was already broken. I ended up having to pack the crystals myself because they were doing such a piss poor job. They dumped most of my things into boxes, they didn’t label any of the boxes, and they didn’t end up taking half of my stuff. I had to rent a U-Haul and tow dolly for my car and pack and load the rest of my things, which cost me an extra $1,600. Then, they didn’t show up at my house where I moved to for a week. The moving company had changed once again, and this time the movers were Champion Movers. The foreman was a lazy fat cow who only brought in a few things and then sat in his truck for the rest of the time and let two other guys unload everything. The only good thing about the unloading was a local guy they hired named Joe. He was awesome. The foreman refused to take apart my desk and move it into my office so Joe stayed behind and dismantled my desk and moved it to my office and put it back together. He then also helped me move over a dozen plastic totes to my storage shed in my backyard. The foreman refused to unload them there because he said it was more than 75 ft and would be an extra charge. I had labeled all of my crystal boxes with fragile labels, which were completely ignored, many of the boxes were upside down, crushed, or smashed. Once I started unpacking things I found a lot of broken items. This moving experience was the worst I’ve ever had. DO NOT HIRE SWIFT SHIFT MOVERS.
If you want something simple, try them. They checked in with me several times to make sure everything met my expectations, even though I had a simple relocation.

For my convenience, they stacked comparable boxes together to facilitate unpacking. Overall, they provided outstanding assistance.
Moving my studio was easy with their help. The team used boxes for my fragile items like ceramics and glass vases. They labeled every box clearly and packed them in an organized manner. They handled my large painting with care, using a protective cover. The movers were efficient and made sure to place each item exactly where I wanted it in the new studio.
The crew leader had a tablet to document every item and its condition. They packed my grandfather clock with extra padding, ensuring no damage.
The driver avoided delays and traffic bottlenecks by using the best routes. To avoid any damage or unexpected drops, the movers loaded and unloaded using a ramp.
I had a very serious and frustrating experience with Swift Shift Van Lines and the moving company they brokered. After major issues during delivery—including erratic and unsafe behavior by movers they literally hired from Craigslist, unreliable delivery timelines which caused us to have to sleep on the floor of an empty house for a week, damage to property and belongings, and pressure to sign paperwork without proper verification and they left without me signing the paperwork which leads me to believe they may have forged my signature (swift shift has still not confirmed they have retrieve this paperwork which is either not signed or bares a false signature)—I attempted multiple times to resolve these matters directly with Swift Shift. They have since stopped responding entirely. I have spoken with attorneys who advised that while the situation appears clearly criminal, the cost of pursuing legal action would likely exceed any recovery. Because of that, the most realistic option left to me is to warn others publicly. This review is written so future customers can make an informed decision and understand the risks involved when using this broker.
An absolutely flawless move! The team exhibited unbelievable efficiency and team work. They enquired whether specific items required special handling, a relief for my sentimental pieces before wrapping anything. What really amazed me is how they ensured every box was labeled in a fashion that would make it easy to unpack. Truly thoughtful and skilled movers!
I asked Swift Shift Van Lines to move my baking equipment to a different kitchen. They loaded the mixers, trays, and boxes of ingredients without rushing. Everything ended up in the right place when they were done unloading.
