Honestly, I thought I would be moving stress with this company with order number MC-2402, but I was pleasantly surprised. The crew arrived with a plan, was confident and did each room one at a time.
If I could give negative stars I would. Cameron the sales jerk was charming but a total liar. Gave us our estimate and assured me multiple times I had plenty if room left. Then the confirmation call came where I removed a chair, a desk, a chest of drawers, nightstand and full mattress. I wanted to add 5 medium boxes. They wanted another $1500. After arguing with the person to explain that to me he said “u can take off items if you want but your estimate won’t go down “. I tried to again explain that is not what my question is I said how is it going up with 5 boxes and bulky things removed ? Finally I said you get no more money leave it as is. We ended up throwing out tons of stuff last minute. Movers showed up at 5 at night. Loaded us quickly and off they went. 9 days later we are at our new home waiting for our things and after multiple phone calls find out it’s in Colorado. We are in Wisconsin. They said they have 21 days to deliver in the contract. Cameron neglected to point that out in our hour plus initial conversation. We called 3 days ago and told we were told we would receive a call in 2 days with a delivery date. Obviously not. The person today was so hard to understand my husband hung up. We have spent over $4000 and have no clothes except what we packed no furniture no dishes. No bedding truly a sham !!!! Wish I would have stopped to read reviews first. They actually told us our price was so much because no one wants to come to Wyoming.
I recently downsized from a house to a condo and had way more to donate or throw away than I thought. I was worried it would slow everything down, but the movers didn't make a fuss. We had rain on moving day. The movers covered my sofa and chairs in plastic, so nothing got wet. Everything stayed dry. I really appreciated their preparation and care. I’d recommend them.
Solid 5 stars from my side because the whole thing was easier than I had built it up in my head. I had about 40 small items scattered around, and I thought it would turn into a mess, but they sorted everything out without asking too many questions. They kept things moving at a steady pace, and nothing felt rushed or careless. By the end, I was just glad it all worked out so smoothly.
From the first interaction to the final drop-off, things were well managed. David was calm, clear, and easy to work with, which helped a lot.
The hardest part was our chicken coop in the backyard. Swift Shift Van Lines helped move it carefully and even made sure the panels stayed together. It was an odd job, but the movers completed it in no time.
I liked how the crew prepared everything before transportation. Furniture was secured well, and fragile household items received extra attention. The unloading process was also neat and straightforward.
Beginning with the planning stages and concluding with the unpacking, this moving company's proficiency shone through at each and every phase of our moving.
The workers demonstrated their capability to load and unload massive objects, performing exceptionally well.
