It was a pleasure working with Edward during my recent relocation across the state. The communication was clear from the start, and the price they quoted me was exactly what I paid at the end of the day.
We've done one move all by ourselves but this time we decided to get professional movers to help. It was a vast difference, indeed. We didn't have to pick up heavy furniture, hire extra equipment, or call friends for assistance, and the entire day was much smoother.
Kenneth was the group leader and brought all the tools he needed to lift big items, including my king-sized bed, elliptical machine, and pool table. Even with minor items like lamps and nightstands, they ensured everything would fit snugly into the moving truck.
I was thrilled with Swift Shift Van Lines for my move. Steven, Andrew, and Jack came in and got straight to work, packing up all my belongings, including my oddly shaped recliner and king-sized bed. They also used dollies to move them without any hassle. They were also upfront about their pricing and didn’t charge me any extra for stairs or distance.
This company is not to be trusted. They give you specific pricing and I was also given 7-10 day window for arrival of my goods. All a lie. They broker out their business and don’t mention that. The price went up by 1500, although I did a quality assurance call and updated my items to be moved which they did not update and give to the movers they contract with. SO when the movers showed up they wanted 1500 more and told me 30 days for arrival. I had a find a new company entirely and swift shift cancelled me and kept my 1096.00 deposit. They are all crooks. Ted, who took my original order, is deceptive as best. Jonathon Ortiz ,Lily DeSilva and Jordan, the quality assurance guy, are all very rude, and unethical. Don’t know how they sleep at night. They should provide at least a partial refund just to restore faith
Solid 5 stars from my side because we moved a 3 bedroom house and the entire job was done in under 5 hours and everything was accounted for at the end.
Swift Shift Van Lines was amazing! James, the mover, zipped around my apartment like a tiny tornado, carefully wrapping furniture and boxing things up in a flash. He color-coded the boxes based on the room (kitchen boxes were green; bedroom boxes were blue!). The whole move took half the time I expected, and nothing was broken!
The wardrobe boxes made the whole experience so different for me! My clothes hung in the closet on hangers and were loaded into the truck without being folded. Big time savers.
An absolutely flawless move! The team exhibited unbelievable efficiency and team work. They enquired whether specific items required special handling, a relief for my sentimental pieces before wrapping anything. What really amazed me is how they ensured every box was labeled in a fashion that would make it easy to unpack. Truly thoughtful and skilled movers!
I needed help moving a few office chairs and tables. The workers were respectful, stayed focused on their task, and completed everything within the same morning.
