I noticed scratches on a dresser after the move. While accidents can happen, I was disappointed by how the company handled my complaint. I never received a proper resolution.
These movers made my move a good experience, and they had a fair price. The crew was friendly and polite. I recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable moving company.
5 stars without any second thought. We had about 2 rooms worth of stuff and they wrapped and loaded everything in a few hours. My wife was standing there watching them the whole time because she was nervous, but by the end, she was the one praising them.
If I could give negative stars I would. Cameron the sales jerk was charming but a total liar. Gave us our estimate and assured me multiple times I had plenty if room left. Then the confirmation call came where I removed a chair, a desk, a chest of drawers, nightstand and full mattress. I wanted to add 5 medium boxes. They wanted another $1500. After arguing with the person to explain that to me he said “u can take off items if you want but your estimate won’t go down “. I tried to again explain that is not what my question is I said how is it going up with 5 boxes and bulky things removed ? Finally I said you get no more money leave it as is. We ended up throwing out tons of stuff last minute. Movers showed up at 5 at night. Loaded us quickly and off they went. 9 days later we are at our new home waiting for our things and after multiple phone calls find out it’s in Colorado. We are in Wisconsin. They said they have 21 days to deliver in the contract. Cameron neglected to point that out in our hour plus initial conversation. We called 3 days ago and told we were told we would receive a call in 2 days with a delivery date. Obviously not. The person today was so hard to understand my husband hung up. We have spent over $4000 and have no clothes except what we packed no furniture no dishes. No bedding truly a sham !!!! Wish I would have stopped to read reviews first. They actually told us our price was so much because no one wants to come to Wyoming.
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
I had a strict deadline to get my storage unit cleared out before the end of the month. The guys from Swift Shift Van Lines were great and didn't waste any time. They started with the big furniture at the front and worked their way back until the whole space was empty. Even when the loading dock got crowded with other trucks, they just kept moving and stayed on schedule.
Jack arranged movers for my aunt’s downsizing. They carried her antique dresser, glass cabinet, and six boxes of keepsakes. The movers were patient and kind, which really made the whole day less stressful.
The moving team was not only efficient but also really friendly. They made the whole experience pleasant. They took extra care with my mirrors and paintings, and nothing got damaged. They also helped me unpack a few boxes to get started.
This company made my life much less of a headache today. Those workers stayed on task and finished on time. I would tell my friends to hire them because they are very good at their jobs.
We used Swift Shift Van Lines for a weekend move to our new house in the suburbs. It was a two-day process since we had a garage full of tools and outdoor gear. The team packed the garage separately and labeled every box. When we unpacked, everything was easy to find.
