I've never used movers to help with a move before, but I can assure you that it was easy and painless. The men did not take unnecessary breaks and were polite and respectful. When I eventually need to relocate, I will, without a doubt, hire an once more.
Solid 5 stars from my side because we moved a 3 bedroom house and the entire job was done in under 5 hours and everything was accounted for at the end.
Swift Shift Van Lines was suggested to me, and they delivered as promised. The service I received from Michael from the first call through the estimate and moving day was outstanding. The week before, he made sure I was doing okay, which was reassuring. And on that potentially tense day, he and another person kept things lighthearted and even comical. They were cheerful, and the rain was of no concern to them. Much appreciation, everyone!
The workers carefully packed our possessions into boxes of varying sizes to guarantee nothing would be damaged while in transit. Many layers of bubble wrap and premium packing tape were used to secure the moving of fragile objects.
Punctuality is important to me, and the movers arrived exactly at 10:50 AM, as promised. They greeted me with a smile and quickly walked through the house to understand what needed to be done. I appreciated how they asked small questions like where to park the truck and which boxes were high-priority. They were polite throughout and cracked a few jokes to lighten the mood. The entire move felt friendly and stress-free.
I had a home office full of electronics that I didn’t want damaged. The movers labeled each box clearly, wrapped the monitors carefully, and reconnected the desk setup exactly how I needed.
We were moving long-distance with a very tight schedule, and we were worried about delays. Luckily, the crew showed up on time, worked with commitment, and kept us updated throughout the journey. They arrived at the new house exactly when promised, and none of the items were damaged. We cannot be more thankful!
We needed several large rugs and a loom. The team rolled and secured properly to avoid creases. The loom was reassembled and ready to use.
I had a great time moving with Richardson and his team. They were wonderful, friendly, and cautious when moving my fragile things safely.
The movers arrived and packed everything for me the day before the move. They were friendly, efficient, and quick. On moving day, they promptly began working. Despite the difficulty in finding parking, they managed to get everything into my new apartment. I would recommend this company to everyone, as they made the entire moving process very easy.
