It was the end of the month and I expected delays, but the crew stuck to the time they promised and called me when they were 20 minutes out. The transparency made it easier for me to coordinate with the cleaners and the landlord. I can’t thank them enough!
We used Swift Shift Van Lines for a weekend move to our new house in the suburbs. It was a two-day process since we had a garage full of tools and outdoor gear. The team packed the garage separately and labeled every box. When we unpacked, everything was easy to find.
If I could give negative stars I would. Cameron the sales jerk was charming but a total liar. Gave us our estimate and assured me multiple times I had plenty if room left. Then the confirmation call came where I removed a chair, a desk, a chest of drawers, nightstand and full mattress. I wanted to add 5 medium boxes. They wanted another $1500. After arguing with the person to explain that to me he said “u can take off items if you want but your estimate won’t go down “. I tried to again explain that is not what my question is I said how is it going up with 5 boxes and bulky things removed ? Finally I said you get no more money leave it as is. We ended up throwing out tons of stuff last minute. Movers showed up at 5 at night. Loaded us quickly and off they went. 9 days later we are at our new home waiting for our things and after multiple phone calls find out it’s in Colorado. We are in Wisconsin. They said they have 21 days to deliver in the contract. Cameron neglected to point that out in our hour plus initial conversation. We called 3 days ago and told we were told we would receive a call in 2 days with a delivery date. Obviously not. The person today was so hard to understand my husband hung up. We have spent over $4000 and have no clothes except what we packed no furniture no dishes. No bedding truly a sham !!!! Wish I would have stopped to read reviews first. They actually told us our price was so much because no one wants to come to Wyoming.

The crew took apart the larger tables and put them back together at the destination. They organized the items according to the labels I put on the boxes. I did not find any missing parts or broken hardware after the move.
They moved fragile paintings and expensive electronics for me, and everything arrived safely. I could see how much care they put into wrapping and carrying items. Their precision really impressed me throughout the entire moving experience.
Moving my studio was easy with their help. The team used boxes for my fragile items like ceramics and glass vases. They labeled every box clearly and packed them in an organized manner. They handled my large painting with care, using a protective cover. The movers were efficient and made sure to place each item exactly where I wanted it in the new studio.
Instead of using single-use plastics, they utilized reusable boxes and moving blankets. I admired their efforts to be sustainable!
I helped my grandparents move from their longtime home into a smaller apartment, and we had so many oddly shaped, sentimental items to pack.
