My son moved into his college dorm on the fourth floor with no elevator. The movers carried all 10 boxes, set up his bed, and made the process quick. I’d absolutely recommend them to any parent.
I moved my art supplies and easels into another studio. The movers kept the boxes upright and didn’t crush anything fragile. I appreciated how careful they were with items that matter to me.
From start to finish, Swift Shift Van Lines was top-notch! The office personnel was kind and helpful, and they planned our relocation two days after we contacted them. On moving day, our movers showed up on time and worked carefully. They were an hour faster than expected, and all of our furniture was in pristine shape when it arrived. We will definitely need them for our next move!
If I could give negative stars I would. Cameron the sales jerk was charming but a total liar. Gave us our estimate and assured me multiple times I had plenty if room left. Then the confirmation call came where I removed a chair, a desk, a chest of drawers, nightstand and full mattress. I wanted to add 5 medium boxes. They wanted another $1500. After arguing with the person to explain that to me he said “u can take off items if you want but your estimate won’t go down “. I tried to again explain that is not what my question is I said how is it going up with 5 boxes and bulky things removed ? Finally I said you get no more money leave it as is. We ended up throwing out tons of stuff last minute. Movers showed up at 5 at night. Loaded us quickly and off they went. 9 days later we are at our new home waiting for our things and after multiple phone calls find out it’s in Colorado. We are in Wisconsin. They said they have 21 days to deliver in the contract. Cameron neglected to point that out in our hour plus initial conversation. We called 3 days ago and told we were told we would receive a call in 2 days with a delivery date. Obviously not. The person today was so hard to understand my husband hung up. We have spent over $4000 and have no clothes except what we packed no furniture no dishes. No bedding truly a sham !!!! Wish I would have stopped to read reviews first. They actually told us our price was so much because no one wants to come to Wyoming.
When it rained quite hard, the movers went to work to make sure our hardwood floors were taken care of! They installed protective runners in the hallways and put shoe covers on to prevent mud from being tracked in the hallways.
From the first interaction to the final drop-off, things were well managed. David was calm, clear, and easy to work with, which helped a lot.
A piano and a number of large shards of glass needed moving. By including additional padding, they ensured that everything arrived in one piece.
We moved at a faster pace than anticipated and made no compromises on quality. With all the boxes, the team was careful, and with the larger pieces of furniture, they used professional moving equipment. Communication was very good throughout. Great overall experience.
The estimate was right on the money, and the communication was clear and honest. They were always willing to help and dedicated to ensuring we were happy with the move.
I had some artwork that needed extra care during the move. Joseph asked me about it beforehand and made sure it was packed separately so it would not shift around in the truck.
