My apartment lease ended sooner than expected, so I had to move into a friend’s place temporarily. The movers handled everything with care. When I settled into my new place, every box arrived safely.
Our movers called off work on the day of the move. Swift Shift Van Lines had a packing crew of three out to our house in less than 45 minutes. Expert, prompt, kind, and efficient. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.
Swift Shift Van Lines is a moving Broker. Something their agent did not tell us when we were on the phone. The agent also said our belongings would be stored in the state we were moving to; the mover that arrived said our belonging were going to be stored in another state. Also the agent under estimated the space we would need for our belongings, so the initial price was acceptable; when the mover arrived the space needed and price went up by alot. The link for the estimate expired by the time the mover arrived (something they do not inform you of). The mover showed up at 815pm on the second day, within the two day window. They contacted us several times moving the pick up time; but showing up that late is not good business management or respectful to the customer. When we were told the new moving cost estimate; we attempted to call Swift Shift Van Lines and were going to cancel and see about a refund, but no one answered. We would not under any circumstance recommend Swift Shift Van Lines.
After selling my place, I shifted to a nearby home. The crew sorted items by how delicate they were. They secured loose parts and stacked cartons with care. During unloading, they placed items in clear areas. This helped me settle in and organize the space quickly.
James and Michael provided excellent communication throughout the move. They kept me informed about the progress, from the initial assessment to the final delivery. Their clear instructions made it easy for me to prepare and plan accordingly.
David and Max provided a comprehensive plan and ensured that every one of my possessions was securely packed and loaded onto the truck. Their communication during the journey was impeccable, consistently keeping me informed about the progress. I couldn't be more content with the level of service they delivered.
I was nervous about my long-distance move, but everything arrived on time and in great shape. They wrapped furniture securely and didn’t rush the process. Very thankful for how simple they made it.
With order MC-2412, I was impressed by the smoothness of everything. The movers were well prepared, worked well together and didn't get the process started in a confusing way. They took care of my furniture, which was very appreciated. There was no damage done and the entire move was well organized throughout.
They had clearly marked all of the boxes by room, and unpacking at the new house was surprisingly quick and efficient!
If you want something simple, try them. They checked in with me several times to make sure everything met my expectations, even though I had a simple relocation.
