My son moved into his college dorm on the fourth floor with no elevator. The movers carried all 10 boxes, set up his bed, and made the process quick. I’d absolutely recommend them to any parent.
To be completely honest, I only picked Swift Shift Van Lines because they were the cheapest option on the list I got from a friend. I did not expect much if I am being real. But the crew that showed up worked harder than any movers I have ever seen. They loaded the entire truck in two hours and then drove forty-five minutes to my new place and unloaded everything in another hour and a half. The price stayed the same as the quote, and nothing was damaged. Sometimes the cheapest option is actually the best option.
The Swift Shift Van Lines staff surprised me last week by giving me a freshly painted dining room table. Nothing at all went wrong. Everything went smoothly since I knew what to expect from the moment, I scheduled the job and began receiving emails and messages saying "we are on our way."
Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
They were the most incredible people ever. They treated the clients' possessions with great care and diligence. No matter how much the transfer cost, these two made you feel as though it was well worthwhile.
If I could give negative stars I would. Cameron the sales jerk was charming but a total liar. Gave us our estimate and assured me multiple times I had plenty if room left. Then the confirmation call came where I removed a chair, a desk, a chest of drawers, nightstand and full mattress. I wanted to add 5 medium boxes. They wanted another $1500. After arguing with the person to explain that to me he said “u can take off items if you want but your estimate won’t go down “. I tried to again explain that is not what my question is I said how is it going up with 5 boxes and bulky things removed ? Finally I said you get no more money leave it as is. We ended up throwing out tons of stuff last minute. Movers showed up at 5 at night. Loaded us quickly and off they went. 9 days later we are at our new home waiting for our things and after multiple phone calls find out it’s in Colorado. We are in Wisconsin. They said they have 21 days to deliver in the contract. Cameron neglected to point that out in our hour plus initial conversation. We called 3 days ago and told we were told we would receive a call in 2 days with a delivery date. Obviously not. The person today was so hard to understand my husband hung up. We have spent over $4000 and have no clothes except what we packed no furniture no dishes. No bedding truly a sham !!!! Wish I would have stopped to read reviews first. They actually told us our price was so much because no one wants to come to Wyoming.
Everything was well coordinated from the booking to the move. I received an email confirming the date and time of the crew's arrival, an invoice breakdown and a reminder of items to pack. The crew arrived promptly and worked around the clock on moving day until the job was completed safely. I can't say enough nice things about them!
We were successfully moved in today by Anthony and his coworkers. Everything is in its proper place in the house; nothing has broken. They were all friendly and helpful.
I didn’t realize how many boxes I had until moving day, but the crew didn’t blink. Micheal stacked everything. The truck looked full but neat, and it was really satisfying to see.
The movers were absolute professionals. They navigated my narrow staircase without a single scratch on the walls or furniture. They worked efficiently but never made me feel rushed, and they took time to check that everything was positioned where I wanted it in my new place. I've moved plenty of times, and this was by far the easiest.
