Surprised by how well this move worked out. A long-distance transfer to a city. Packing was done with solid boxes that kept fragile items safe during the drive. Arrival timing lined up well, which made unloading easier. Larger items were brought in first, so setup could begin right away. Even with warm weather, the crew stayed focused and professional.
Moving is very stressful, but thanks to George and his team, who made it easy. Our hardwood floors were protected from scratches because they used corner guards and floor runners. They labelled each box, which made unpacking very easy. The group made a barcoded inventory list, scanning every item as it moved from our old house to the new one. Not a single item was lost or damaged, and the relocation was finished before the scheduled time.
We've done one move all by ourselves but this time we decided to get professional movers to help. It was a vast difference, indeed. We didn't have to pick up heavy furniture, hire extra equipment, or call friends for assistance, and the entire day was much smoother.
Thanks to Swift Shift Van Lines dedication, efficiency, timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism, our move was a pleasure. Not only were Andrew and Joe the most pleasant coworkers, but they were also exceptionally gifted, generous, and enthusiastic about their profession.
The overall experience was disappointing and did not meet my expectations. Communication was inconsistent, and the entire process felt poorly managed. I expected a much higher level of service.
