Read More After my initial interaction with Safe Ship, it left a bad taste in my mouth. But what the initial rep lacked, customer service 100% made up for it. Every single time I call them, they are pleasant and professional, especially Samantha. She has gone above and beyond. That girl needs a raise. I was a nervous wreck (and rude), Samantha calmed me down. Hopefully she sees this.

Read More Initially spoke with Jesse. He was thorough and knowledgeable. I explained that I also have 2 cats that I need transported. He explained that they could not transport live animals but set me up with Happy Trails. As far as my household property, they arrived on time and packed everything up completely. The driver was well spoken and quite professional. I was delivered 6 days later and everything made it in one piece. I will be recommending Safe Ship to my church and work friends.

Read More I am not normally a person that writes reviews but the to movers went above and beyond. I personally do not have a lot of money so I was not able to tip them. My daughter and I gave them snacks and some juice. Johnny was kind and said he wouldn't accept a tip even if I offered. At the end of the day Safe Ship Moving delivered exactly what I needed, some nice strong guys to move my little apartment.

They NEVER once told me they were a broker until it came time to send in the movers, and again they never told me they were brokers I figured that out for myself. As far as I'm concerned they should be embarrassed the way they treated this DISABLED vet! SCAM ALL THE WAY!! Stay VERY clear of this company!!!

Read More We reached out to safe ship for a cross country move and were in a unique situation where we were renting my mom's old place so it's all furnished. We struggled to decide whether to bring our furniture or not and when a friend offered to buy it we decided to sell it and use my mom's furniture. Safe ship gave us a great deal and then also put our move on hold once we started debating what to do, and when we had a confirmation and made our decision they quickly helped us out to cancel the hold and free up the date for someone. In the process I spoke to Dan and Sammie and they were both really great! We ended up getting like 100 calls from different operators and safe ship felt the least chaotic and pressured.

Safe Ship Moving gets their cut regardless of move quality or whether we receive anything! What a fool was I! Do Not Use!

Read More I had a very favorable experience working with Alex Popke at SafeShip. He far exceeded my expectations of a broker customer rep. He was patient with my long list of questions, he helped educate me about things like cubic weight and he explained how the entire process would work once a carrier picked up my load. There should be more reps like Alex out there. The shopping of services like this would be a lot better.

Read More I wish I could give this company 0 stars. They quoted me 4000 initially after I described them my belongings. They did not do a video survey. They blew me off saying that can be boxable etc. They gave me a really low box count to get me to sign with them. I am not experienced in moving so I believed them. When I got the quality assurance call, even though my itinerary hadnt changed my estimate more than doubled just 3 days before my move. The quality assurance person told me they gave me too low a box count. When the movers showed up, the actual cost was 1000 more. The first estimate was not accurate and if I had gotten an accurate estimate I would not have gone with this company. I felt like they deceived me with a small quote and lowballed me to get me to sign with them. I will never use this company again.
