Read More I worked with Leroy on an upcoming move from California to North Carolina. He was a great guy to work with and we appreciate all the insights that we needed to know for the move. Unfortunately we did not go forward as my wife’s company was taking care of the logistics. Therefore we had to cancel. However I felt the need to write the review as Leroy was really on top of things and his customer service was outstanding!

Read More Worst thing to ever think about doing. Got a broker to white glove my first move. I can say I will never use another moving service again. It has been a year and I had 90% of my belongings broken and or missing. Overcharged by $8,000 dollars. No resolution by company as of yet. I recommend that you do not go near them because soon they will be in a lawsuit.

They are zero help over the phone and have the WORST customer service known to man kind. They will hang up on you, they will bait and switch contracts to get more out of you. They will lie about delivery dates so they can hold onto your items longer. The company is a crock of shit. I have done cross country moves in the past and have never run into this issue before with moving through the military. Leslie Garcia is a pretty horrific manager to speak with and literally will not help you out whatsoever. She does not care one bit about customers. It’s evident that this is just a job to her and that customer service does not matter to her. How she got promoted I’m not sure because she lacks empathy for customers and their situations. People need to avoid this company like the plague. You will be hung up on, you will not get calls back, you will have notes written about you in your account that aren’t accurate. Leslie Garcia stated I was unwilling to increase my services yet I spent an additional $2k to get all my items. I would not have spent an additional $2k if I was not willing to work with the company or increase my services. When the moving company arrived to pick up my stuff they sat around outside for 30 minutes after showing up 2 hrs late outside my pickup window which was between 11am-3pm and they showed up around 5pm. This company sucks and gives zero craps about veterans or military personnel. Do NOT HIRE them for any of their services. I wish I would have read the Reddit threads that emphasize how much of a terrible company this is.

Read More My experience with them has been extremely stressful. They are very resistent to committing to a delivery date. I am 2 days away from moving into my home and they will not get me an estimate delivery date. The trucking company they work with gives me a different duration than Safe ship had intially quoted. I called customer service and left multiple voicemails and they have not returned my call.

Please read every detail of the contract before you use this company. They will give you a low price and then, the day of the move, the mover actually gives you the real ... Read More Please read every detail of the contract before you use this company. They will give you a low price and then, the day of the move, the mover actually gives you the real price, which is invariably higher. At that point, you have no choice but to use the service unless you want to leave items behind or take them another way. Also, even though the mover says "when would you like your delivery" and you tell them a date, that date is actually not your delivery date. NO, that date is the first day that you are willing to take delivery. They have up to 10 business days from that date to actually deliver your belongings. But that is not the worst of it. They deliver your belongings in a semi-trailer. If the semi-trailer cannot get within 75 feet of your front door, you will need to pay for a "shuttle" to have your furniture delivered. This can cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars more. Please, do the research and book a company that actually cares about your move.
