Read More I moved with NEW DESTINY VAN LINES last month from TX to CA and I have to say, it was the best move ever. They came on time, wrapped my furniture professionally, very polite crew, especially the forman Pedro.

Read More I understand that there are a good amount of logistics involved with moving belongings across the country, so I don't want to downplay that. But with any company, customer service is key. There are a lot of hidden fees and the price you're quoted could potentially change with this company, which is a huge red flag. I was quoted about $1100 for a move from Dallas to Los Angeles and when they came to pick up my furniture (King bed frame and headboard, 2 nightstands, writing desk, computer chair, medium boxes) things went fine. The problems started when it was time for delivery. I received an email stating that I would need to pay an extra $300 from the price we originally agreed upon. Apparently I was going to need a "shuttle service" where if they can't park the 18 wheeler near the drop off location they need to "rent a smaller truck to drop off your stuff". Even if this is true, which I highly doubt because logistically it doesn't make sense and the movers are all local to the location of the delivery... the company should do the leg work and check Google maps or whatever means to ensure whether or not they can deliver at the new location without changing the price last minute. I eventually got in contact with the owner who was aggressive with me and instead of being gentle with the customer, kept pushing that the company had done nothing wrong. She then proceeded to go back and listen to the recorded conversation I originally had with the customer service agent when booking the move. She later calls me back and apologizes and waves the $300 "extra shuttle fee", which I'm still VERY skeptical about. However, this was never communicated with the movers who delivered the furniture as they asked me for the $300 to which I told them it had already been dealt with. I tried to keep this review brief but companies that are deceitful need to be ashamed of themselves. If this is genuinely a logistical issue, don't give quotes to customers and then try to change it on them a day or two before delivery. Also, most importantly the furniture wasn't badly damaged but there were definitely some chips here and there AND some missing screws. The movers sped through the assembly and some of it wasn't completed. I literally had to go in after they left and screw down parts of the bed frame. Just embarrasing.

Read More I hired New Destiny Van Lines to move me from Dallas to Los Angeles. Jenifer was very detailed when tending to all my questions and explained the process very well. The cost came out exactly what I was quoted! They did an amazing job, very professional!! Pedro came in was very polite and the guys came in and did a great job with packing of all my stuff. Everything was delivered very quickly and with no damages!! I would definitlely hire them again and recommend this company to all my friends and family!
