Moving company in Dallas, TX
My team arrived today on time and did a fantastic job. Pedro is the foreman and he is amazing. This team moved me from Texas to Michigan and now I’m back in Texas and they moved me again. I will continue to use new Destiny Van line and partner with Pedro him and his team are amazing.
Communication throughout the move was frustrating. We were not always informed when the schedule changed or when the crew was running behind. Waiting without clear updates made the whole process more stressful. A more reliable communication process was needed.
The moving process was far more stressful than expected due to poor communication and scheduling issues. I had to follow up multiple times for updates, which made the experience frustrating. Overall, I was disappointed with the service.
I moved with new destiny van lines and a couple of days ago from dallas to san antonio the guys where very professional and polite and made my move fast and smooth.
I called them for a small job, just moving about 15 big items from a storage unit to my new garage. They quoted me a 2-hour minimum. They finished in 1 hour and 45 minutes and only charged me for the time they worked.
The guys showed up on time and got straight to work loading our house. They used big blankets to wrap all the mirrors and the TV very securely. New Destiny Van Lines made sure they fit into the truck safely for the trip. No damage at all, which is the main thing. I would use these movers again without thinking twice.
The guys did an awesome job. I had a lot of stuff and they packed that truck completely full to get it in. They were quick and efficient and did a great job reassembling the furniture and helping figure out where things would fit. Thank you!!
Don't go using them. They give off a friendly vibe, but if they ever show up, you can count on them to wreck your place and steal your stuff. The front desk clerk, John, was really detailed, but unfortunately, it was the best part of the experience. On the day of the move, James texted that the men would come around noon but were running late. As of nine o'clock, they were late. They sent two guys to start working at 1:00, and they came at 1:30. But the boys were so rude and they talked to me in a very bad way. They damaged my stuff as well and I am not going to call them again.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is responsible for the most stressful month of my life. I do not wish my experience on anybody, and I urge others to look for other alternatives for their moves. I moved to MA from Dallas and when I was looking for a moving company, I told them that I needed my stuff by July 29th at the latest and settled on a pick-up date that I was led to believe would get me my stuff by that date, or so I thought. After a terrible experience with a rude and patronizing employee during pick-up, I waited and waited on the 29th and heard nothing. I had to reach out myself and their response was that it was still in Dallas because “they didn’t have a trip up to Massachusetts.” Yes, they did. My trip. To get me my stuff. Which I hired them to do. But apparently hiring them to bring your things doesn’t warrant a trip to bring you your things. I moved for work, and having been led to believe that my stuff would arrive before my start date, I packed up all of my work material for them to bring it to me. Massive mistake that, if not for my extremely understanding employer, could have cost me my livelihood. It took them almost three weeks for them to load my stuff into a truck to bring it to me, which according to them is the industry standard, and then they gave me a massive and basically useless window of time for when it could be delivered. In total, it took them almost a month to deliver my things. There are no words to express my frustration and the absolute desperation I felt knowing that all of my possessions, both personal and professional, were on the complete other side of the country and there was nothing I could do. Upon delivery, I was given a nonsensical “inventory list” that was put together during pick-up and when I opened my boxes, so many things were broken, missing hardware, etc. I am beyond upset. Moving is extremely stressful, and New Destiny made it even worse at every step of the way. Misleading, unprofessional, and uncommunicative. Hire someone else!
In order to secure my move and prevent increased expenses during the hectic summer months, I made a deposit in February. It's unresponsive when you try to set up the actual move itself. I never received the reimbursement I asked for. SCAM
