Read More Midland Van Lines will move your stuff from A to B. The quality of the move is debatable. The sales people will blatantly lie about additional charges even when asked directly. Your quote will skyrocket once the movers arrive. If you question it, you get told the sales person lied to you. Once your business has been gained, good luck getting a follow up until right before the move as the Customer Care is poor. The movers who took my bedframe apart broke every joint and screw (no exaggeration) so the bedframe could no longer be reassembled when delivered to my new home. I noted the damage on the delivery sheet per instruction of the driver. When I contacted Midland about compensation for the broken bed, apparently my noted issue along with my signature and the signature of the driver on the delivery confirmation receipt wasn't enough evidence for them to bother looking into the matter. I received a single sentence response stating they wouldn't move forward reviewing my claim. My suggestion is to scour the language in the contract and don't let the sales people mislead you that what you read means something else. Be prepared to not be compensated if something breaks in transit. I hope everyone reading this has a better move experience than I did or finds a different company.

They’ll quote you one price and then magically change it the moment they show up—classic bait and switch. I was told one thing on the phone, only to be slapped with a completely different total when the movers arrived. When I tried to hold them accountable, they were dismissive, rude, and borderline hostile. If you're looking for professionalism, look elsewhere. The entire operation is a joke. The people they send are inexperienced and clearly don’t care about your time, your property, or your sanity. I wasted two full days trying to sort things out, only for them to no-show and then reschedule on their terms—without a hint of apology or urgency. To make matters worse, when I asked for my deposit back (after they failed to deliver any service), they flat-out refused and said they were keeping it. So basically, they stole my money and wasted my time. They’re based in Colorado, and honestly, that alone should be a red flag. If you value your time, money, or belongings, avoid Midland Moving Company like the plague. Save yourself the stress. Find literally anyone else. This company is a scam wrapped in incompetence.

Even though the booking agent knew my final delivery address would require a "shuttle", I was never informed of this until 2 days before delivery. This ended up being an extra charge to transfer my items from an 18 wheeler to a smaller truck due to weight restrictions. Midland Van Lines uses extremely shady and deceptive practices and actively conceals the full scope of charges up front. Do not work with them. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

After receiving a quote from representative Adrian Brewer, I asked for a few days to explore my options and to make a smart financial decision. When I contacted Adrian on Monday to tell him I would not be proceeding with their services I was asked, "So you're leaving everything behind?" I responded that "No, I made other arrangements I can afford". I was responded to with "Alright good luck, I hope PODS works out for you..." I tried to report Adrian's behavior to corporate and they "don't take complains from non-customers"

This company lures customers in with low initial quotes, only to dramatically increase the price later—likely hoping you’ll feel trapped with no other options. Fortunately, I was able to avoid getting caught by their tactics and found a reputable mover. Their terms and conditions are heavily skewed in their favor and are complicated and obscure their true intentions. They inflate heavily the estimated weight and volume, and even though you're allowed to reconcile the final numbers, you're limited to reducing them by only 10%. This means you often end up paying for weight and cubic footage that weren’t actually part of the move. Additionally, they don’t guarantee a pickup date, and the fine print allows them up to 21 business days to deliver—far longer than most customers expect. Use this mover at your own risk!!!

I think going into this with proper expectations is key. Know that your stuff will take some time, and weigh whether or not that is worth the cost savings.
