The initial quote they gave me was very affordable, but when the movers arrived, they started tacking on extra fees for everything, from fuel charges to stair fees. They tried to charge me for using their own equipment, like dollies and straps. When I refused to pay, they threatened to hold my belongings hostage. It was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had.
