Read More It was RI and we needed help unloading a 26-foot U-Haul truck after moving across the country. We read a lot of customer reviews, did some research online, and called a few other businesses. We chose Metro Hop Relocation LLC because of our phone call with Kenneth. The move went well and everything was great.

I booked a move with these people. Gave an inventory. Movers show up and increase the price by $2000, or 50%. First available day for delivery was June 26th. July 4th co ... Read More I booked a move with these people. Gave an inventory. Movers show up and increase the price by $2000, or 50%. First available day for delivery was June 26th. July 4th comes and goes with no word. They call me on July 6th but don't leave a voicemail. I call back, nobody answers the phone. I call customer service, they have no information. Dispatch call again on July 7th, they tell me my stuff is loaded and will be delivered the 8th or 9th, but will call a day ahead to confirm time. The morning of the 9th is here, I still haven't heard from them. I call customer service. They tell me my stuff is coming any day now. I say no, I was told the 8th or the 9th, what is going on. They ask me if I'd like their number to call them. I say no, they don't answer the phone when I call so I called you and I need better answers than this. They tell me they have none. I still have no idea when my stuff is coming. 10 day window my ass. From the beginning, this has been the biggest joke of a moving company I have every encountered. Lazy, unprofessional and dishonest.
