The service we received truly exceeded all expectations. The entire crew was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the process, and I was especially grateful for their willingness to move all the boxes into our attic as well – that was a huge help! What really stood out was the way they worked together as a team; all the team members were noticeably positive and supportive of each other during the move. Beyond their efficiency and helpfulness, they were all wonderful individuals to work with and speak to. Based on this outstanding experience, I will definitely use this company again.

What truly set them apart, however, was their handling of a difficult situation with my former landlord, who became verbally abusive. The team's ability to de-escalate the situation with calm composure and unwavering professionalism was truly impressive. Beyond their exceptional service, the care and respect they showed for my belongings was evident in every lift and placement. I hired this company specifically to move my treadmill, which was a task that required both disassembly and reassembly. I was thrilled that they could dispatch a team to my location within just two days of my initial request. The movers arrived promptly, were incredibly efficient, and completed the job flawlessly. Their professionalism was evident throughout the entire process. I was extremely satisfied with their service and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for any future moving needs.

The movers from Illinois Movers packed and moved some very fragile artwork for me. They took exceptional care, using specialized packing materials and techniques. The artwork arrived at my new home in perfect condition. I'm extremely grateful for their expertise and attention to detail.
Used for an emergency move after a fire in my apartment. Communication was excellent and the move came in under their estimate (I did not go with the lowest bidder)--they recommended 4 people to help with packing. They were careful and responsive. Will be using again when I can move back in!

I would never recommend Illinois Movers, Inc. to anyone. On May 31, I spoke with the company about my move. They assured me they could handle it and told me my belongings would arrive at my new home in about two days. Based on that promise, I paid the required deposit. When they picked up my belongings, I had to make another payment as agreed, packed up, and drove to my new home expecting everything to arrive shortly afterward. A week went by, and I hadn’t heard a single word. I called, texted, and emailed repeatedly. Their voicemail was always full, so I couldn’t even leave a message. At that point, I honestly thought I had been scammed. After two weeks, I finally received an email saying they would deliver my belongings whenever they had enough shipments going near my destination. That was never mentioned when I hired them. I explained that I needed my belongings as soon as possible. Their response was that they would contact me when they were ready and specifically told me not to contact them again. Another two weeks passed before they emailed saying they might deliver on Monday or Tuesday and would call 24 hours beforehand. Instead, they called Tuesday afternoon and said they would be there in three hours. Since I couldn’t be there on such short notice, I had to ask a neighbor to meet them and let them put everything in my garage. To make matters worse, several of my belongings arrived heavily damaged. On top of that, the delivery driver was demanding a tip, even though my items were weeks late and damaged. Asking for a tip after providing such poor service was unbelievable. This entire experience was stressful from start to finish. They made promises they didn’t keep, were nearly impossible to communicate with, provided almost no updates, delivered weeks later than promised, damaged my belongings, and then expected a tip. Save yourself the frustration and use a different moving company. I truly wish I could give them less than one star.
